  1. Edited for accuracy - not that I'm needy or sensitive
  2. Goodness me! That all sounded very sensible Although maybe best repeated in a more diplomatic fashion
  3. Ah, that makes sense. It gave me an excuse to use my new smiley though
  4. £33 pounds now. I'm gripped. Who are these bidders, why do they want this Good for you for getting some decent cash but illogical...does... not...compute...
  5. GLWTS - Good Luck With The Sale in this case with added sarcasm... oh i thought it was good luck with the scam lol
  6. I would only go in if Lidl was in disguise.
  7. Why not stop talkin now and the problem won't come up Absolute guarantee for tears for you if you have to share an old shed then (or indeed any 'boring' car) Of course you can. As martin says, you can pick up a runabour for peanuts.l. My friend bought a polo for £20 and has done nearly 5000 fault free miles in it so far. Also, if he dents it, he doesn't care ( ). Plus you can be all manly and fix it for her at the weekends. What it comes down to is how much you love your Z.
  8. Ha fat cop had nil chance of catching him
  9. I don't understand it. Who buys these? It's not like you don't get a free one with every car
  10. £1,200 for a gauge ???
  11. It will be interesting to see what this goes for. I find it bizarre that people want to buy them, never mind that they seem to pay so much for them, although if this sale goes well I may sell my own! Good luck for a high figure
  12. The LPG should have been fitted with an oil drip (can't remember what the proper name is). For cars with susceptible valve seats this lubricates them and prevents these problems. The car should also be run with petrol every now and then. I've had a v6 with LPG before and got stonkingly high mileage and the engine was in fantastic shape, possibly due to the clean burn of LPG - no carbon anywhere and even the oil always came out honey coloured Really bad news you found out the hard way though DiggZ
  13. http://www.mynewcheap.co.uk/products/de ... les/31124/ This may do the same job?
  14. Nice one mate Congrats. The next mod will be to get a nice silk ribbon for the bonnet of the Z
  15. Cool, thanks guys I forgot he was PM-able. I didn't want to bother you whilst away Martin, I'll let you know if I have any problems. Cheers
  16. Anyway, that doesn't count as it's ginger
  17. The ones on eBay *may* be genuine Nissan, but they certainly aren't genuine 350z knobs and the seller doesn't claim this either, he just says they fit. TBH they look a bit crap, there must be better out there than that. The seller actually says "When fitting to a 350Z, some of the gear shaft will be left exposed, as the gear gaiter does not attach to the gear knob. This may give a more racing look." Good try mate
  18. I'm trying to track down Fletch (ex mechanic from ESR). Anyone know where he has got to as I've got some work for him if he wants it. A PM with a phone number would be ideal
  19. I think you are a bit hopeful with 10K and wanting to use a garage. Thankfully (for everyone with a Z) they haven't fallen quite that low yet! Pay off the finance yourself, flog your car and buy a private. Yes it is more hassle but you will save money and probably get a better car for it as you can buy from someone on the forum.
  20. You dont smoke in your Zed If you enjoy smoking then why not do it in the car? Not many place you can do it any more. But don't expect top sell the car - ever
  21. Looks like an invite for some stupid chav to break in. or at least nick the picture.
  22. I always wave, but when the combined speed of two Z's going in opposite directions is taken into account we are both usually 100M past each other before either of us notices - that means in my mind everyone waves
  23. I think you have PM. But for the sake of the thread, seek and ye shall find... http://my350z.com/forum/3642317-post23.html
  24. Not Quite! No bees or wasp but an the other hand, how can you tell if it is doing any good or not? Psychologically it makes me happier as I'm sure it is helping, so I'm happy
