And lucky !
-
Exactly, not the bikers fault .. Both
-
How can it be ? She walked across a road, a line of traffic without looking, straight in front of him and it's his fault ? Just can't see it If someone stepped off thr kerb in front of your car and you hit them, then that is you're fault ?
-
Regardless, what excuses her from any blame for not looking ? I'm not saying she was 100% not at fault, they both were, but a bike travelling in between two rows of cars is quite hard to spot sometimes, especially when it's travelling 20mph faster than the traffic which surrounds it. You're getting caught up in the "I'm a biker therefore I know all about bikes and bikers never do anything wrong" train of thought. He should have been going slower, she should have looked better. It's that simple. No I'm not, yes they both were to blame, as soon as he filtered he should slowed and sat as high as he could but if she had looked it wouldn't of happened So you're not quoting everyone who says the biker is at fault? Looks like you're up there on the I'm a biker clubs high horse to me. As you say, if she had looked it MIGHT not have happened. Just like if HE had slowed down. Dedman out captain. No I'm not on the bikers side but it's madness to say its the bikers fault And I'm not sure about might, if she had looked and seen a high powered machine hurtling towards her with a crazed whistling madman at the helm I don't think she would of stepped out Both to blame but more so her imo

Or wearing protective gear so surely she should be more careful Two lanes approachIng traffic lights, in one lane the traffic stops and you proceed in the other lane, a pedestrian steps out and you hit them ! That then is you're fault for driving a high powered machine and not having good observation ?? High powered, looked like a 125cc to me

Your viewing angle would have been higher than his actual eyes due to the position of the camera. Of course she should have to look, a pedal bike could even have been coming. She was lucky it wasn't worse involving damage to herself, the biker and other motorists cars! Wrong, HE was lucky there was no damage and he didn't hurt her. Being aware of the surrounding area and what situations are likely to occur is a drivers primary concern. Safety first. When traffic is stopped, pedestrians crossing is highly likely. Riding through the middle whistling without a care in the world... he was obviously not paying attention. At 20mph he should have been able to stop that bike on a 5p piece. And what attention wad the pedestrian paying ? Or don't they need to ?
-
The rest of the traffic was stopped, hence why 20 mph is a far greater speed and the reason he was filtering She should of looked, of you had kids would you tell them they don't need to look ?
-
Does it start faster ? Looks
-
maybe down the aisles but once you hit the bends by the tills not a chance

What Clarkson says or doesn't say means absolutely nothing to me, he's consider a clown now and uses the media for his own promotion It's threads like this that give his comments any value, he's better ignored imo

£7.99 now you're talking, I was a bit concerned at £9.99 with the gearbox problems they've had Will have a sniff today .. Cheers

In a sensible word - no. Standard car maps are created so that they met certain efficiency ratings and EU regulations regards fuel and emissions, sometimes at the detriment of power and delivery. They also make the car easier to sit at national set speed limits, such as 30, 50 & 70. When the car is sitting at 30 it will have a smoother, less aggressive fuelling ratio, so it's more comfortable and can maintain the accurate speed better, less edgy and gear to set off if you like. By adjusting the fuelling for consistent power delivery and smooth out the 'flat spots' in the rev range you will achieve a much smother, progressive, steady power curve up the rev range. As long as the fuelling is adjusted to the capabilities of the engine, it'll be fine. simply yes the maps are generic to encompass all enviroments, climates, emissions, air temp, relative humidity etc etc The 1st 3 gears are limited , the limit is in throttle response not opening %, i.e the butterfly response is slower in the lower 3 gears than in the upper 3 gears. afaik it adjust a/f ratio, fueling and timing etc - the map is for the uk and it's sunny climate ;(
-
I am yet to read anything that suggests that, iirc the car runs very rich from the factory so the corrcet fuelling can only help imo

Supercharged 350Z GT PRICE DROP FOR QUICK SALE!!

you don't mention the mileage ? -
A spot here and there and you could probably put it down to condensation but if it looks like a vat of manonaise (yes that's right) I don't think I would take the car home and risk it. Very common on porsches ! Due to short journeys and lack of use, it's a common thread on 911 uk that people think the hg has blown, lots of mayo in the oil filler but not an issue Check the oil/ dipstick (when it has one) for water and the header tank for oil
-
nice one you just need, oil, water, anti freeze, brake and clutch fluid, steering fluid and I usually take a spare alternator just incase. it can be a pain and towing the trailer with spares does affect the mpg bbut better to be safe than sorry ... dib dib dib
