  1. You expressed it so much better than me. I agree with Rich too. The car is lovely, but as soon as the boy racers move in, I'll be moving out - to the 370z side of the forum I bought mine about 10 months before the prices started to freefall, and there were much fewer extreme and modified Zeds about then, times change, and people move on. The community holds strong though
  2. Hell yeah! Nice run from FA to Fort Bill. (got my wheels rebalanced so they're not juddering all over the place now either!)
  3. Right then boys and girls, what the plan for getting to Moffat on Tuesday? We shall be staying in North Wales (The Portal hotel) the Monday night, so can meet people on the way on Tuesday.
  4. This is years old. I had it on my first phone to support video which was a good 3yrs ago if not more. Tis very good though
  5. I have these available pre owned at £100.00 each. Some people never learn
  6. Shouldnt Nixy's say "100 Today!"?
  7. Agree with all the above, its just a way of life and more coming now that a lot of Zed owners have had them around 3yrs and about time to move on. Cayman S is a lovely car, interior is 10x better than a Zed, but I dont think its worth the premium over it. I also find the drive a little too clinical, but I guess its down to how ya like it
  8. Nice one Colin. For those of us staying FA, are we going to convoy down?

    Shop Local

Nice one mate, and yes always shop around, not just on the net. I got 4 Falkens, fitted and balanced for £450 using a combo of Camskill and TGM Sport. I have just found out that my local wheel repair place can (if you are a loyal customer) supply and fit tyres, so will be trying them next time as they always look after my wheels (and car when they used to run ChipsAway) really well.
  10. Me too. Just had to lug about 25 2m long bits of "railway sleepers" (not real ones, just hard wood cut to look like it). And it went from nice over cast, to rain, to blazing sunshine! How random. Hopefully detailing the car this afternoon ready for the Hoon and make my newest mod nice and shiney
  11. Just caught this. Sorry to hear you might sell chap, especially after the hillarious run up to you getting it back and asking Phil about a million times for updates I'm quietly confident though that you wont get offers high enough to warrent you to sell
  12. well it rained tonight and the beeding is alot more compact on the dodo... lasting wise im not sure. ive never left wax long enough for it to fade. think the longest ive never not waxed is 2 weeks :S. application wise both really easy. AG HD obviously with a wet sponge and the DD SN is like oil as soon as u rub it onto an applicator pad.. AG HD is harder to buff off but that could be down to the fact u put alot more on with the wet sponge. i like them both tbh.. but would i own the AG HD, probs not. for near enough the same price raceglaze would be my first choice or victoria's wax also BH autobalm.... -ho Interesting comparison with the HD and DD Ho. What type of paint is on the car? Much fleck to it? If the paint it quite flat then you probably wont notice the difference with DD SN. What I noticed most with mine was that the fleck of the paint would pop much more than with P21S. When I first rolled it out into the sun there was a noticeable difference, but under hallogens you couldnt really tell. The other big bonus is how long it lasts. Quite a few waxes give nearly the same finish as the SN but they need topping up all the time. With DD SN I top up one layer a month if that. With P21S it was a couple every few every 2 weeks. As you've found, its also easier to apply. By no means ground breaking, but when you add it all together it does make it worth it. Good work with the correction BTW
  13. Ow Darren, thats gotta hurt I know the idea of the hoon with all these nutters is a scary one, but really dude, you can just drop out, you dont have to go breaking bones Wish you a speedy recovery, dont worry, well take loads of pics on the hoon just for you
  14. Cool cool, well when you hit the sweet spot, let me know and I'll get a set Matched with your new ARB should make the Zed corner nice and flat with no more understeer
  15. You'll need to speak to Alex or Adam about spring rates, not sure anyone around here has played with spring rates tbh. Why do you think you need to change them from what the manufacturer has chosen? Will have to come for a ride if you get the BCs as I fancy a set too at some point.
  16. A group shot of the cars outside the cafe would be great for the calendar Should be a great meet Jerry is going to save me a good spot and in return I will get the best group photo I can (arent you Jerry! )
  17. I'd like them to define light........... Pretty sure the rules in these things means you cant do a massive amount to the block. Maybe bore it out, but thats about it. Obviously all the internals will be uprated though.
  18. Tend to be a bit over budget on the £1k limit, I think they are about £1200 atm. Might be worth the stretch if you can though Ad! The KW v2s come in on budget, but dont offer the adjustability of the BCs for the price point, however will likely be better made? Just a guess.
  19. You mean my block cant withstand the stress of 1900bhp pffff......... Yes actually ...
  20. So when are you going on track then Adrian? BC seem very good for the cost and get very good reviews all round. KW are the defacto choice but you will have less adjustment in that price braket than the BC will offer purely as you are paying more for the name. I'd say get some KW, but if they are too expensive then get the BCs.
  21. The engine block, but I guess even that isnt much like ours
  22. What hes done is get non Xenon lights and fit an aftermarket Xenon kit, which comes out cheaper than buying the Xenon lights from Nissan. Interested to see how that stacks up against proper Xenon and if the cutoff etc is the same. I would guss the shells are all the same anyway, just some have Xenon bulbs and balasts and some just run on normal H7 bulbs.
  23. One with the engine running: Its sister car its based on:
  24. Well it does help really, but we dont mind
