  1. I like Dee, only car people will get it, everyone else will think its a normal name. Or Flo, thats quite a cool name (and we know the full name )
  2. Shame I cant play this at work being on client site with no headphones. As lovely as they sound, I dont think the client will agree Whos the foghorn? Name and shame
  3. Ian had a SEAT before going to the Zed too. Think it might have been an Ibiza though. Sure there were a few more Leon/LCR/LFR owners on here
  4. http://www.seatcupra.net/ is you friend. I had one before the Zed, but cant remember any common problems. Being a VAG car, the parts are all solid and very few problems with them, but being put together by Spaniards, they can rattle a bit!
  5. Yes they can be very hit and miss. Depends how good your stock grounding is. Some say it makes it drive quite a bit better, some it idles a bit better and some say nothing at all happens. Fitting mine made it much smoother at idle, and also better at pulling away at lower revs. Nowt else difference though.
  6. No idea what the problem could be, but when I was a member of ClioSport many moons ago, they were very good - http://www.cliosport.net/forum/

    Alcantara?

Chris's hdad something done to his looked really nice at north weald, don't know if it was flocked or alacantra lined but it did look good. Alcantra (fake stuff). Looks good, but is fading in the sun. Its going off for a flocking when I get the time/money
  9. Pearl black looks good too if you have some carbon bits on it
  10. Sorry cant help with that Thats what the preview is for

    BLEEDING BRAKES

Sorry to hear of your woes mate. Please do search out the "Dealership Praises and Woes" thread and add your comments there too so that other users dont have the same problems. Sounds to me like they havent done it on a Zed before, or at least the technician you had hasnt. Anyone whos done Brembos before knows they have 2 nipples per calliper. They are also notoriously hard to bleed. I had mine done at a repuatable inderpendant and it took us a few goes to get it to work, but we wouldnt leave it until it was done properly. However, you can think it is done doing a static test, and if you dont know how its meant to feel, you might think its right. Also if they managed to let air into the system (master cylinder run dry), then its even more of a sod to get all the air out. Nissan should know better though
  15. A short drive out would always be welcome if there are good local roads about
  16. Booo to southern hard water, theres no way I could let mine drip dry without filtered water, and bar those Flash things, the proper filters are uber expensive My massive i4d towel works wonders for me
  17. I'd go for Purple Haze, but tbh the differences will be very marginal. You can get a panel pot of DD SN for £15 and its enough to do the car a few times over
  18. Fully agree with the above, and make sure you get an official one. I bought a dodgy one for my Samsung, and it kicked out so much electrical interferance it too out my TV reception and ran very hot Was promptly put in the bin and replaced with an OEM one!

  20. 4 hours max, around £200.00 Take it to one of the works rally teams - they do 'em in about 12 minutes But costs a bit more than £200
  21. I'd personally go for DD Supernatural, but Rainforest Rub is a good choice. Matt@i4detailing does this ... http://i4detailing.co.uk/acatalog/Dodo_ ... Rub_1.html
  22. No problem with using anything down to 95RON, the car can wind back the timing to cope, but you will lose power with lower than 98RON. Also good shout on fresh fuel, although it does take quite some time to drop off I beleive.
  23. Will be a proper track beast then
