  1. Jay if you want to goto the Ace Cafe, you can borrow my car for the day if you give me the Aston
  2. Or on the flips side - "whats that blowing noise? Oh no I think I need a new exhaust otherwise it will fail the MOT" Lumpy idle is usually because A/C is turned off. Turn it on and it will idle nicely. Lightweight flywheel will do nothing for idle, trust me
  3. Thats where my keys go, and they've worn a hole in them
  4. nice one chris You mean nice one Amanda, I'm just the (very bad) model, she took the photo
  5. Another option to try and source is the Nismo V2 scoop that comes with the V2 bumper.
  6. Bah, Mart, you lightweight, we did 2k miles just for the Hoon Seriously though buddy, get some rest!
  7. Lol!! I paid £750 my first year with no NCB... All my previous cars were company and they wouldnt take them into consideration! Mine was about that too. I'd never pay over £1k for insurance unless I had a supercar
  8. Mark, did you manage to do any logging on the road? The reason I ask is I had my car dyno'd at eurospec 2000 and using ODBII hooked up to my CarPC the intake temps with my pop charger were massively over what they are on the road, at least 15C. We didnt try a run with the bonnet up, but certainly it was a lot hotter intake temps than I experience on the road. Would be interesting to hear if you did some on the road data logging.
  9. Pop charger is the only one I know of for the Zed, bar the stock 06+ airbox
  10. I'm sure with 5 it would pass the emmisions test! Not sure they flow much though
  11. Shhh, you'll spoil the game oops
  12. Took me a while to see it too, was adament there wasnt anything there. How did they make it look so OEM?
  13. Glad it all went ok chap. The service is excellent, I hope Andy is having a well earnt lay in today! The missus was getting rather bored with me "testing" my new flywheel on the way home Good day had by all
  14. You can have it back for £700 Now I have a lightweight flywheel, I swear it gets louder at lower revs when driving too. Amanda noticed it too and mentioned it to me before I said anything about it. Sounds lovely HFCs soon?
  15. +1. My Zed is now on 76k miles, and I've had it from 26k miles. To me it drives better than the day I got it (prob due to the new clutch and allignment work done at the weekend), but it certainly wouldnt put me off a high miler again. It would have to be in good nick and well cared for, but I think they are better than really low milers that have been left sitting doing nothing all the time and driven only short distances. I tend to look for cars that have done 10k/yr to make sure they've had a reasonably good running. We even saw on the dyno at SRR that the cars that were driven all the time seemed to pull better numbers than those with "Sunday" cars.
  16. That links to the Pistonheads logo for me! It doesnt allow hotlinking. He means this one:
  17. LALALA I cant hear you LALALA Amanda would kill me if I signed up again
  18. Yeah the K2 is quite a bit quieter than the K1. Had Mitz and Andy fit my clutch and flywheel, and the service was first rate. Andy didnt stop once during fitting it when I was there, he was constantly doing something. Top rate
  19. I'm on 76k, stock cats, going in for MOT this week. Andy (CS mechanic) said they were in v. good condition for their age! Fingers crossed they pass!
