  1. UK Zeds are undersealed, imports/JDM are not AFAIK
  2. Oooh that is mean! Do let us know what they quote!
  3. Me either, but I only use it at work, so never in a hurry to do anything there
  4. narcotix: Just get it down to CS and get his mechanic to have a look. There will be more to the diagnosis than getting the code, usually ZMANALEX has the answer once we have the code, but if you are close to CS, just get him to have a look at it James: How far of a drive is it for you to get there? I think I'd rather pay Nissan 30 quid to read it locally than risk driving any distance and damaging the engine.
  5. Congrats Stan and Lucy, our first 350z-uk baby! You really should go check out the G35 Stan, I think as comprimises go, you will be pleasantly supprised
  6. That was the original plan. But as I'm up at CS at the end of the week, can possibly kill two birds with one stone.
  7. They sell super (97 or 98 cant remember), and that far north, you'll take it!
  8. Heres a good one for you Dan, if you're ever in the area:
  9. I dont clean my applicator, given it has DD SN on it, would wash about £10 worth off it! Just keep it in a bag sealed up. MFs I wash now and again as they can get clogged up with wax on buffing but if you do nice thin layers there shouldnt be much to buff off
  10. Why? I have to put up with the age comments, although I did notice I was not the first to bed each night on the Hoon I blame Amanda, no stamina I tell ya She wanted to make sure she was wide awake incase she ever had to drive and follow you Colin I thought you were going to come back and tell me it was about stamina in another department Oooh, thats mean, she'll hit you for that one if she finds out
  11. Try gettng them to grease them first guys, a lot cheaper than a replacement, but if they do go, then ZMANALEX does the replacements
  12. Maybe the more southern ESR I've always been looking for, if I get good at the route, I recon I could nail it in 2hrs
  13. Why? I have to put up with the age comments, although I did notice I was not the first to bed each night on the Hoon I blame Amanda, no stamina I tell ya She wanted to make sure she was wide awake incase she ever had to drive and follow you Colin
  14. Nice work chaps! If I knew you could do clutches that quick I'd have signed myself up to have mine done on Saturday with a flywheel to boot (are you open Sunday? )
  15. I would expect CS himeself has this kind of kit (a pro one), but I have a generic one that we can try that hooks up to my laptop. Is your car a UK as my reader has been known not to like imports
  16. Good idea steve more money though Not a lot to put your mind at rest though Hopefully I'll be getting Abbey to flash mine at some point, so we'll see what the process is like with them using the same software as RS Tuning.
  17. A traders called CS is having an open day, with various services offered (detailed a page or so ago). Its generally just a good catch up, but some are having more work done than others. I'm getting my tracking done for example. Really its just to have a good nosey around what he is about and his premises Oh and a good social catch up and get some grub in the evening
  18. TBH thats not a bad fee. I've had between £10 and £30 charges before for changing details of a premium from other insurers.
  19. This seems like a startling ommision to me. The code reader will tell all (well get you going anyway!). Get them read guys My guess would be either faulty crank position sensor or alternator problems.
  20. Another option is to remove the spare wheel. Bet you would get one in then, but I wouldnt like to put a pet in a fully covered or closed in boot personally.
  21. Such a funny thread I have a similar one of our great admin sleeping, but thought better than to post it
  22. You're a lucky sod living up there Stew, the roads are fantastic.
  23. Pt2 is even better than Pt1 Right time to work on Amanda for next year. I think shes already set on doing a Continental hoon though
  24. Nice write up Colin. Night driving was ace, especially with our pace van out front I need to go edit my hoon pics post and put mine in order, PB managed to mess it up
