  1. Read the article in Evo mag, but hadnt watched the vid. Excellent achievement and they drove it all the way there too. Even clears speedbumps
  2. I think Chris may have ment the picture in your sig I meant both
  3. Try R35LEE or ZMANALEX they both usually have parts ready to go
  4. Sig needs an update to show the progress
  5. can get it at silverstone, only worth it if your cars mapped for it. +1 - anything over 100RON is a waste on a stock Zed
  6. Excellent work as always Paul. I will show this to the missus as an example as to why we 2BM her new track grey Ibiza. Those swirls made me wince
  7. ^^ What he said. Havent been out with Andy myself, but the missus got a few tuition laps with him on an airfield day and she was far more confident when she came back with much better technique (just shows she should have listened to me but wouldnt )
  8. Wasnt far off in the end. All sorted now, new battery in and starting nice and strong
  9. i don't know, with all the power to the rear, if he's heel and toeing, your still trying to put force through the rear caliper while braking. fronts are only subject to rolling resistance and the brake pad. Sorry Rich, but that's completely wrong. Heel and toeing involves no extra power being sent to the wheels at all, that's the whole point of it: Dip the clutch and blip the throttle as you do so, change gear and re-engage clutch matching the revs to the speed you're doing. If you do it correctly the net result is a very smooth gear change that doesn't upset the balance of the car at the point of turn in, if you get it wrong it can make things much worse stability-wise but won't cause any more issues with the braking. Have to agree. Left foot braking anyone?
  10. K2 would be your best bet in that price range Nismo if you have a bit more (well twice as much and a bit more)
  11. You do that. I'm working on some extra ducting for the OEM bumper so we can meet in the middle and sell the solution
  12. You try it and let us know. For some reason, I dont see this making much difference to sticking tin foil to the intake
  13. Looking great matey You do get what you pay for. Certain replicas (Shine etc) are fine, but generally, tried and tested suppliers are the way forward. Adam makes importing from the States a doddle, he got my Bride rails to me quicker than an eBay seller could reply to my query about theirs
  14. I'm sure Nixy drives way better than that, if not I'll get Amanda to teach her heel-toe
  15. In which case you have to accept that you need a proper brake track setup and get some suitable discs and pads for tracking the car or a BBK
  16. Give it a go and let us know how you get on
  17. Not when you have a trade card you can borrow
  18. I would guess thats why the holes are there, to let water out and air in, in the event that you do sit in a puddle
  19. Not necessarily, the exact pressure will depend on tyre brand and in particular how stiff the sidewalls are. For RE040s 35psi is spot on, for something like T1Rs you'd want a couple of psi more in to account for the chocolate sidewalls. Not too sure on the Falkens though having never personally run them. Something between 35-37PSI is what I run my Falkens at. Can be a wee bit soft at 35PSI depending on how you like it
  20. HKS Speed Defencer will get rid of it for you, but for not too much more money, you can have a reflash which will get rid of it and give you some more power. I'd go for a reflash. Try Abbey m/s or RSTuning on here
  21. oooops.....what happened??? mine are so red i can hardly see the brembo logo!!!! i ll upload a pic this avo.... I've seen you can fade the colour on Brembos if they are driven very hard, its like a badge of honour on the MLR. But I dont know if that would turn the gold to red
