  1. Doesnt look like this is possible for me now, we need to make a detour to up near Darlington on the way to the LakeZ
  2. Good to know there are some out there then!
  3. Even at the time I dont think they actually did it for that price. Someone will be along to confirm, but I'm not sure they ever fitted one to a customer car - I certainly never heard of one. Certainly wouldnt be that price now!
  4. Sorry dude but TCS being off is never to blame for an accident. Driving faster than the conditions allow is .......... As I said earlier, theres another TC system under your right foot While this is true, I get the feeling a lot of the guys that turn TCS off clearly arent the Stig like drivers they think they are, as we have unfortunately see far too many times :surrender Should also be noted that there was a fair few other cars came off that rounderbout just fine, myself included, with no hints of TCS kicking in, so as you suggest driving properly its fine, but clearly some people cant control the car quite how they think they can. I'm fortunate in that the 370z TCS isnt half as intrusive as the 350z's.
  5. Get on over to Mitz@CS mate. He'll sort you out for a good price if you much in with the labour, he's a very friendly and easy going chap
  6. Bagsie 2 seats please I will be bringing 1 event shelter, I'm sure we'll have more. As many found out at Z Fest last year they can hold off the elements just fine even in torrential rain
  7. Didnt realise they 350z had more power than the 370z
  8. No sure anyone on here knows who Bren is though? Although he is a trader he appears to have only posted on here twice, hardly support for the forum huh? Chris (Tarmac) has been a lot more proactive on here so I for one welcome the competition, especially from a very active trader. I know a few other traders also offer K-Sport including Mitz@CS.
  9. Ouch Hope it goes smoothly mate, but going by the van driver and his boss, you might have a fight on your hands. F'in hate the blame culture we have these days, he was in your lane, it is his fault, but if a lot of the time these days they settle for 50/50 unless you have witnesses? F's me right off when it goes that way
  10. Used to get it in the 350z, unfortunately the 370z is a 7AT so no clutch Dont seem to remember hearing it on other 370z's I've heard but I could just be used to it from the 350z
  11. Kind of - speak to Mark @ Abbey about it, he will put you straight with the options. Most aftermarket exhausts come with a Y-pipe, and Y-pipes on their own plus an exhaust later is more than just getting an exhaust inc Y-pipe in the first place. Best way to do it IMO is to get an exhaust that inc Y-pipe then get HFCs later if you want them. Unless of course you get offered a set of HFCs or Y-pipe dirt cheap in which case go for them, but evenutally you'll want a "full set" of breathing mods to make the most of it all.
  12. Seen much much worse than that!
  13. Very nice sir Damn you for beating us though /shakes fist
  14. i dont think you can buy bad tyres in my sizes...? Really?
  15. You mean get better tyres John? Wider crap tyres will spin up too (yes I am saying that in jest, I know there is a balance to be struck!)
  16. = cheap knockoff They just save the money by not having to do the R&D and having a big name. Most I have heard that run it seem to be impressed and they take AP discs I think when the K-Sport ones are shot.
  17. It was posted in the 370z section so you could forgive the OP
  18. You'll notice a difference in noise thats for sure, but it might not be the "right" noise. Only one way to find out
  19. This is the point I was trying to get at. Yes its easy to get the TC to blink if trying, but on the roads you shouldnt ever see it if driving properly - unless you are hoofing it intentionally.
  20. HFCs with standard exhaust will just give you a slightly louder, rought/raspier kind of noise. It wont really sing like one with an aftermarket exhuast and HFCs, nor will it give you any more power. In the manifold > cats > y-pipe > exhaust chain its the Y-pipe w/secondary cats that strangle the system, not the cats. Once you have removed that (with an aftermarket Y-pipe), then the next restriction is the cats, but not by much. So in terms of noise, you will get a little, but not as nice (IMO) as an aftermarket exhaust, nor will you get any extra power. However if you are looking to get an exhaust and remap later then they will be worthwhile to get them now if thats what you want
  21. I would hope not just yet on a 370 My 350Z needed a couple of bolts cut after a year and it doesn't even live outside! Yours was welded on my Sellafield radiation
