  1. Having done neither but having done a lot of inline skating and skateboarding during my youth, I'd say they'd use about the same. Skiing may be a bit more legs focused and boarding a bit more core, but not a lot in it.
  2. Second from last on the grey Marin, throwing a wee tweak in Ah he had a different top on to in the photo, I was looking for a red top
  3. A decent paint shop should be able to respray the panels and blend them in. Even if the paint match isnt spot on, the blend will at least mean that the difference is less noticable.
  4. Mine is CameleonUK I think (yes I know the spelling isnt right )
  5. Would have to be a Porker for me, probably a Cayman S second hand
  6. Mmmm nom nom nom - was good anti-bonk food last time Andy flogged me on my bike around the Lakes
  7. Gotcha. Need to go dig out the XB live usernames thread now as I finally got the router moved to the living room and Xb and PS3 wired up properly
  8. Thats true, those crazy JDMs could have anything fitted. Still I think t it was more than likely the salesman that was fed the BS rather than the salesman making up the BS Thank god we only had 2 trim levels
  9. Where do I go to do that? Time to get the wheel out the loft
  10. Where were you on the vid James? Looks like good fun up there - must get up to have a go at some point
  11. OK so maybe I over-egged it a bit, but what I meant to say is they werent limiting sales - they were selling all that they could make. We had to wait 3 months for Amanda's Ibiza and also her Alfa, thats normal practice waiting for them to be built. Just because you have to wait for it to be built doesnt mean they are limiting it, its just not mass produced so they are all built to order. The fact they were trying to sell off a whole load of pre-reg later models and 370z's certainly suggests they didnt try to limit the numbers, it was just a case of previously they couldnt build them quick enough. Small but significant difference
  12. American trim levels (ripped from 350z wiki) Base : The entry level, stripped down version of the 350Z. Enthusiast : Adds some key features that many will want. Performance : A bridge between the Enthusiast and Touring Touring : More luxury: leather, Bose, and Navigation. Track : Designed for the track guru: light wheels and Brembos. Grand Touring : A blend of luxuryand performance: Track meets Touring. IIRC all the UK cars were track and touring (aka non-GT and GT). And to be fair to the seller, he probably has been sold a right story from the original owner It might well be a track as it has Brembo and no GT features. Nismo tuning is probably assumed from the badges and 300+HP was probably sold to the seller by the old owner who was just BS'ing them. I think it should have Rays on it though, not sure where they've gone
  13. Yeah looks way off centre to me. Mine is between the boot release and number plate light (which are in the same places on a 350z), where as Colin's looks way over the end of the plate. Seems odd placement
  14. Got my 370z nicely tuned now. S700 class, fully specced up and with a GTR engine
  15. Colin - where is the camera located? Doesnt seem to get the best view and also looks wonkey. You can see they've adjusted the lines so the ones on the right are shorter to counteract the wonkiness Mine is right close to the boot release button and doesnt need half the compensation of that.
  16. Thats true Ian. In my case it would have meant buying a whole new rear interior, new seats to replace the Recaro's (my originals were shot to @*!# after trying to recondition them) and having my front bumper sprayed - which would have been a bit of an expense
  17. The problem isnt with ragging it, its looking after it properly. You need to feed it the right fuel and keep it in tip top condition with the right fluids at the correct level. The most problems I've seen on the 350z are from oil starvation which now it appears may be a byproduct of using the wrong fuel and damagine the engine. Not sure if that holds, but certainly the Zed does use more oil as it gets older. The harder you want something to work, the better you have to look after it. Looking at my push bikes as an example. My commuter gets treated like @*!# but it doesnt really have to take a lot of abuse, just road riding but a lot of it in all weathers. My MTB on the other hand gets beasted whenever it goes out (AK will testify this with our last ride in the lakes) but then when I get it home it gets washed and lubed and all parts checked to make sure they are working.
  18. No chance - having been around a few years now, I've seen the huge number of pre-reg that Nissan have tried to shift in each model inc the current 370z. They arent in any way trying to limit the numbers, they want to sell as many as they can make. Only the special editions were limited - but as the 40th Anni 370z went, there are more of them than other models so hardly limited In reality the demand just isnt there to make it a high volume sports car, Porker have that side sewn up nicely
  19. Personally I cant see Colin liking an auto - although at least he knows how to use it properly now - eh Col
  20. Who cares about resale value? I bought the car for me, I modded it to my tastes. Why should I care what the next owner will think of it? Just dont try to PX it like I did I will definately only be doing reversible (or at least ones you cant see if not) mods from now on, that way I can have it how I like it and then put it back to how others will like it when I come to sell
  21. So do I. I stay in a small village in Scotland. Can't get more country than that The lip doesn't sit more than a few mm lower than the oem bumper. I have however lowered it on kw variant 3's but in this pic above it was eibach springs. +1 - and if the lip is made of carbon it will fair a lot better against small animals than the stock bumper
  22. I always say - if in doubt take it for a drive
  23. I prefer the standard and factory fit Nismo v1 cars to most other kits. I think a front lip of some kind makes it look a lot better (Varis or Nismo v1). Dont like massive skirts, spoilers or bumpers with bits cut out though.
  24. Hey bud, long time no see - I need some cakes nom nom nom! Glad you and the family are all doing well. Nothing too different going on here - same old same old
