  1. And the same from me to you all. Cheers!
  2. Buy PIAA blades - they work wonders.
  3. If you have had 'cheesy poofs' over christmas you need to pick your friends better. Straight confession. I have cleaned my car twice in the last 8 days!! Failed to polish it though as it rained straight after on both occasions!! Ars* Ming the bored Looking back was not the joke that it was supposed to be. I cleaned my car yesterday and noticed 4 chips in my doors curtesy of moving to the new ofice car park with smaller spaces.... grrrr People are so inconsiderate. I agree people in general don't give a sh*t about other people's cars, especially in car parks, but the main problem is that those who design car parks and lockups nowadays clearly have no idea how wide the avreage car is! There are some multi-storey car parks that I just would not use with the Z. Feel for you though - hope you get the chips fixed without too much expense. Chipsaway?

    Winter Cars!

LOL Yeah its much cooler to shoot "wildlife" animals Dunno in UK but in Belgium its pathetic. The animals they shoot are basically bred in captivity and then put in nature, much tamer and less afraid of humans and all that ... now how's that for a challenge Sick.
  5. I think this is intended to combat keystroke readers. Not sure how successful it is though.
  6. Season's greetings to you all - looking forward to another year of useful tips and interesting chat!
  7. Mio Digiwalker 510e sat nav Fits snuggly in the cubby in the dash and finds the signal no problems. Just need to find out why I can't get power from the power outlet behind the driver's seat.

    server down time

Thank goodness. I was having some problems with my PC and I was wondering why I could not access the site. At least now I know it was not a problem with my ISP. It's amazing how a grown man can miss such a trivial thing as a car forum!
  9. Jeezuzzz Just got home from the office Xmas party - what a shocker!
  10. Had a short run on them today at 30 psi and it felt a bit better. I'll give it a longer run at the weekend and see how it handles at that pressure, but I don't think I will go back up to 35 until the summer, just as you say.
  11. Good luck with that. I take it that you'll post the details when you find them and "rip it out"? What kind of rear sensors? Not the ultra expensive Nissan set, I take it?
  12. Been here before and not had any luck, I'm afraid. See this thread - http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... highlight=
  13. Like you, Ming, I was running mine at around 26 - that's what the garage set them at when I got it. I've had mine close to 35 for the last 2 or 3 days now and I can't help feeling that the car has significantly less grip. That's not good these mornings when the temperature falls below zero. Think I will compromise tomorrow and drop them to around 30 and see how that feels.

    power socket

No - I've tried a few different items - satnav, tyre inflater, light, phone charger. Nothing works. Doesn't appear to be any power getting to the socket and I don't know how else to check it.

    power socket

Thanks Tim. Will have a go at it tomorrow.

    power socket

The power socket behind the driver's seat does not appear to be working. Anybody know which fuse covers this item? How easy is it to remove the rear panels to gain access to the socket?
  17. Thanks Trev. Better get the foot pump out!
  18. I have converted the tyre pressure information from the door pillar sticker. It says 2.4 bar all round. That converts to 35 psi. Does that sound right? My tyres appear to have been running at around 30 psi for a few months now.
  19. Hi Tosker, and I bought mine from MacKays, and I have been pleased with the quality of the car, the purchase price and arrangements, and the after-sales service. I am planning to take it back for sevicing soon.

    Deep dish rims

Nice one, Sarnie. Was trying to find a picture of a deep-dish pizza before you posted this!

    Wiper blades

Just fitted a set of PIAAs on my wife's CRV. Brilliant - what a difference from stock Honda or aftermarket replacements. Clean sweeps, no squeaks, surface repels water just like Rain-X. Will definitely put a set on my Z when they need to be replaced. Highly recommended.
  23. The other thing to avoid is a room/bar/club/restaurant fill of smokers. You can wake up the next morning feeling as if you have had a skinfull! Solution - move to Bonny Scotland - smoke free!!!
  24. How easy/difficult are they to fit, Tim?
