  1. Spamming your own thread there Beavis
  2. Chester start October 2007 but look at what you will driving out to and this road is one of many that are something special Looking like three times as many ZEDS will be there this year Have a really great time guys and enjoy yourselevs - only sorry family reasons are keeping June and me away this time
  3. FOC with your service. June was wondering if you might do a free nip and a tuck for her (yes, it is spelt right ) but I said I would draw the line if she thought I was paying for her service as well

    New seats at last

Quality job all round and good trim choice there Jim Even though I chose to have the Alezan (as opposed to the charcoal), from your pics I think the shade you have chosen looks better.
  5. Nope, no idea where "is" stayed - heard that Flirt passed out on a park bench that night though
  6. There's 2 threads now: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... highlight=
  7. Really sorry about the news but anticpating that sad eventuality the fact you got to see and chat with your grandad beforehand will no doubt count for an awful lot...... and Zedrush is still being Zedrush and Sarnie is now in residence at Mothercare
  8. Like everything in lifr, they have been replaced Have you told Liz
  9. Why doesn't the log book list is as a GT? You couldn't get the cruise control on a non-GT car, so its not a base with options. So why doesn't the reg show it to be a GT?? That would be my concern. Id. Neither V5 for my previous ZED or the current one states they are a 'GT' - whereas they both are. The car Mouldie is interested in is a UK GT - no question - but do check out the finance situation very carefully and get an inspection - seen too many posts of late where new buyers have not done their homework and then found gremlins which ruins/affects the ownership experience.
  10. Easy done mate as I eventually found out! Will happen if you are someone who tends to use the 'blue' return button (menu bar) before your post has fully embedded on the thread. Waiting for your post to pop up and then clicking on the options in the posting heading avoids the problem.
  11. Mine (and previous ZED) as well - does anyone NOT have the noise
  12. +1 The car does look a good buy in terms of its spec - wise to get an inspection and do as others have said to make sure you don't pick up any finance debt To give you an idea, when i bought my present ZED new, I exchanged a 2004 GT with similar spec (apart from sat nav and circ 24k miles ) for what was effectively a £17.5k price tag in Dec 2006 - shows you the kind of price drop since.
  13. Had it done twice now then Good to hear the positive feedback though
  14. Wow, great first post! In November 2007! One year on and Frosty is living up to his name
  15. 2006 - 296bhp ZEDs have this:
  16. You get out there and show 'em Stan....... Just don't forget this time you do have a 5th and 6th gear Oh, and there is no need to use the middle peddle every time you go over 30mph
  17. Have tried the both heat settings? On the low setting the heat can be slow in coming through from a cold start up.
  18. +1 but note that guage readings (and the Voltmetre) will vary from car to car, as I have experienced with the two ZEDS I have owned. If you have any doubt about the pressure take it to a decent garage and have it checked, but from what your guage is showing at idle that is absolutely fine.
  19. I wasn't about to sit there with this guy and say "well, actually officer you're wrong....". I simply listened to what he said, nodded at the right moments whist looking sheepishly at the footwell. I was caught bang to rights and had no defence whatsoever. So if he'd have told me black was white I would have agreed with him so as not to make the situation any worse. As a result, my overall countenence worked in my favour and I was let go without even a ticking off. I am no friend of the Police as in institution, but I'm not going to provoke them when I'm clearly in the wrong. This one copper wasn't full of the arrogance that I've experienced from others that choose that profession. Made a pleasant change. +1 well said, no point in winding up someone who is being more than 'fair' in the circumstances.
  20. Sorry I was late guys - good to meet up and a nice line of ZEDs Few pics (just to show the wife of course, why I suddenly upped and left her on Sunday ) Some interesting mods here And a new exhaust on display
  21. That will be the one towing the full trailer then
