2005 NISSAN 350Z GRAN TURISMO 4 BLACK (2005) @ £10.2k
Ebized replied to p1tse's topic in 350Z General
It it were genuine and the price had lost £10k along the way I certainly hope an 06 has not fallen to £13.5k What a tanker -
Nope - don't buy from main stealers (only get the servicing done there for warranty purposes). Got mine new from Evans Autos (sure you will know of them) having bought a s/h one a year of so earlier (also from Evans) but then decided to splash out on the curent one rather than give the tax man more than I had to. Mind you, the way prices are now...... But then its all relative and might get tempted by some of the deals out there as dealers try and get some cash flowing

Welcome to the forum Envious of your location with so many great roads up there well suited to the ZED as I found out on the Hoon in September And in answer to you question about what car Big Phil is getting - well we arn't speaking to him anymore as its the ZED's big brother and we are all very jealous Oh and one more thing for now, if Stew rings you and mentions about going for a drive out make sure your tank is very full and allow for twice the time he says as distances arn't his strong point -
Hi and welcome to the Forum and see you got your car from Wilsons - hope to see you around as I'm in Epsom with a black 06 coupe with a ZED plate

2005 Veilside 350Z - CHEAP, QUICK SALE NEEDED! £14,500!!!
Ebized replied to Z Boy's topic in Zeds For Sale
Very sorry to hear your news and especially after the work and money you have put in your car . Someone is going to get a bargain and having seen how you have added some quality mods to it. But sure you havn't got a rich aunt of something who might 'sponsor' you for the £5k urgently needed so you can keep it and when you get another job she can have the money back -
F1 is BIG business - that is why car/engine maunfacturers get involved and see it globably as a good advert for what they do. There is little doubt that those who control F1 are doing very nicely out of it. The FIA states it: "is the governing body for world motor sport and the federation of the world’s leading motoring organisations. Founded in 1904, with headquarters in Paris, the FIA is a non-profit making association. "So we take it those charged with governing the sport are wage/expenses paid only. But then if you look at the buisness links of those 'employed' by the FIA you start to wonder about the morality of their position when wearing their FIA hats they are making decisions that could affect their business interests. We have lost count at the number of times unscupulous individuals will manipulate their positions in life to feather their nests (many politcians at all levels are classic examples) and some get away with it. As a professional I am bound by a code of conduct to ensure no conflicts of interest arise. I simply do not see the same principle being applied to the governing body that runs motor sport. So when the President of that body wheels out his latest (hair-brained) idea to ostensibly improve the sport I, and many others wonder just what it is that is driving them - is it really a genuine belief that it is being done to address (alledged) harm to our planet by the combustion engine or is it simply playing lip service in order to ensure that nest feathering and the intersts of those providing the feathers are not compromised. The Eccestone £1m donation to the Labour party was done to safeguard fag sponsorship - probably a drop in the ocean compared to the income subsequently derived from keeping that form of sponsorship alive for a further period I got involved in motor sport at the age of 17 and continue to be a fan of all types some 43 years later. I just dislike the way I see the sport being carved up by those who little more interest but in seeing how much money they can make out of it and I suspect some deal has/is being cooked up surrounding the single F1 engine concept.... for the beneifit of a few.

You know the expression - fall in the @*!# and come up smelling of roses - what a result - look forward to the pics, and bugga Phil, why don't you move darn sarth, I could really do with giving mine a polish under cover instead of out in the open - was going to edit that, oh what the hell

And which manufacturer is being lined up for that we wonder - if you have checked out the Mosley/Donnelly business links you wouldn't be surprised that FIArrai/FIAt look odds on. And no doubt a certain FI supremo will have that base covered as well as if he hasn't got enough billions. Can only hope the other engine manufacturers and affected teams will do something legally effective to curtail the activities of a few who are so self-indulgent.
-
No it isn't I was still pi$$ed from the night before when I posted it
-
They'll find a way +1 - more than likely And what do think about Mosley's latest meddling by going out to tender for a single engine supplier for 2010 - no guessing which manufacturer is being lined up for that and if you have checked out the Mosley/Donnelly business links you wouldn't be surprised at all. And no doubt a certain FI supremo will have that base covered as well. Can only hope the other engine manufacturers and affected teams will do something legally effective to curtail the activities of a few who are so self-indulgent.

Brilliant A bit worried though that the drifter is driverless
