  1. I know this is a longshot, but would you consider £8k cash, or 7k cash and a lovely MR2 Turbo?
  2. Chris, if you're reading this, I am not trying to give you or the car a bad name at all. When I sold you the car, I did ask for first dibs when you sold it, and it was a nice gesture to offer me it back when you were thinking of selling, and of course I was very interested as I missed the car a lot. But when you said you wanted 16k for it, after I sold it to you for £14.5 I was just kind of like, "yeah ok... " if I was having first dibs of getting it back I obviously wasn't going to be willing to pay more than i sold it for, 6 months and 2,000 miles later! I have no doubt it's WORTH 16k to anyone else on this forum, but £1,500 is £1,500 and I thought it was a bit cheeky offering me it back for more than I sold it to you for. Either way, I'm sure you'll get 16k for it, heck you'll probably get more for it, but if I was buying it, I'd be expecting to pay £14k for it at the best, as to me it's only worth £14.5k seeing as that's what I let it go for. Good luck with the sale anyway Chris, I'm sorry if it looks as though I'm slagging you off, I will vouch for you now on here that you're a top guy having met you and spoken to you tonnes of times on the phone. I was just feeling a little stung having rung around and tried to pull as many strings as I could to see if I could somehow get it back and then being asked for more than I sold it for.
  3. Yeah before I got rid of it I went to a car meet and a yellow Gallardo pulled up next to me, and I have a picture of a big crowd of people around the Z and nobody paying any attention to the Lambo next to it LOL.
  4. I am not too bothered really, just thought it was a bit cheeky, and doesn't really reflect it's current state/condition as it was obviously from the previous owner. How are you anyway Jay
  5. Cheers dude. Need to take a looky around here and see what's been happening!
  6. Hey guys, it's me! I knew this thread would be dug back up now lol. The story is, when I sold it (for £14,500!!!) he said he would give me first dibs when he came to sell it. He rung me up the other day and told me it's going so I said I am very interested and would check my finances and see if I could scrape some cash together to get her back. After some exchanging of calls/texts I asked him what he was going to let it go for, assuming it'd be a couple of grand cheaper since I sold it 6 months ago, as obviously it's now an older car, out of warranty, with more mileage on it and it still hasn't had a service! Well when he said around 16k I was like urmmm okay, and just thought it was a bit cheeky asking another £1,500 on top of what I sold it for, then I see the ad on pistonheads for £17,500 LOL!! Screw that. So obviously I'm not going to pay £3k over what I paid, even though I really really REALLY want her back. To be honest, fair play if he gets more than he paid, but I tried for ages to sell it and he was the only genuine buyer I got even at that price. I still feel sick when I think of what I paid for the car and how much I spent adding my touch and basically finishing off what Danny started, numerous trips to ESR, brand new Nismo exhausts, tonnes of carbon fiber, fancy strut braces, I even got the clicky rear axle sorted at Nissan, so after the loss I had to deal with when I sold it, I'm not really up for paying another 3k on top of what it went for. Anyway, sorry I've not been around here for a while. Didn't think I'd really be wanted as I don't have a Z anymore but I'm back in a Nissan again now. Sold the Evo and bought an stage 1 R34 GTT, then broke it, and now I've just got an R33 GTS-T Spec 2 for a project and although I love it, I still miss my 350Z every day! ps. not only has he taken all my pics from the original advert, he basically copy and pasted the whole lot. Over and out.
  7. MPG is about the same I guess, 18-20mpg? It's an Evo 7 GSR. Service intervals are 4,500 miles but not that expensive, I know it's half the interval of the Z but you're always going to have to make compromisies with that kind of performance for the kind of cash it costs to buy one. Just had a full service including plugs, AYC fluid change etc. etc. for around £200 odd quid at a main dealer. Less than £40 to fill it up though!
  8. Nope, not even close! But it's much quicker and more fun to drive! Plus I can also get into multi stories now lol.
  9. Sounds like redundancy did you a favour? I guess so, may as well look at the whole thing positively. Just wish I'd driven one before and I could have got an Evo 9.
  10. Hi guys, just thought I'd log on after a mental couple of weeks. Had some guy from Ireland call up wanting to fly over the next day and buy the car for the asking price in cash. I couldn't really turn down the offer, as I had people interested in the car but I've always said the first person to put the cash infront of me can have the car and I can't turn down genuine offers in front of me on the off chance someone else is going to buy it at a later date. I'm sure if anyone was in my financial position at the time they'd have done the same, it just had to go asap! I've now got an Evo 7 GSR which is actually soooo much quicker and heaps more fun to drive than the Z was so I'm chuffed all round really as I got it for a really good price and now have a car I can really enjoy and money in the bank. Was great meeting those of you that I did though, brilliant club. Thanks for everyones help. I still have some bits left over from my Z for sale too...
  11. Exactly. 3 months ago I quite happily paid £19k for this car and have put around 6k of my own money into it since on mods and upkeep alone. £14,500 would only just get you an old high mileage JDM a couple months ago.
  12. Will also include a top of the range Stormforce car cover which cost me an arm and a leg!
  13. Speedbumps are fine, will go straight over most but if they're massive you gotta go slowly at a slight angle, wheel up first. If you ever have an issue or live by some giant ones which you can't make it over, I still have the original springs in perfect condition which will be included with the car. If anyone wants to view it feel free, and anyone that's seen it can probably vouch for it. It's gotta be one of the most complete Z's in the UK, with every mod done to a high standard. I've got every bit of service history, not a penny has been spared on this car at any point during it's life by me or the previous owners! I can't go any lower than this now as I'm basically giving it away.
