  1. What are you waiting for viewtopic.php?f=56&t=52396 I'll let you off this once forgetting his name
  2. I think a sequel to "Behind the scenes" is required now to explain all viewtopic.php?f=13&t=44081&hilit=beavis
  3. It is
  4. Thanks Dave One that got left behind during the split:
  5. CJ/Neilp This thread started as a 370 query and the issues with the 350's are not necessarily the same. Unless you think otherwise, I suggest you start another thread
  6. tut tut Al - you forgotten already - see last post viewtopic.php?f=56&t=50423
  7. What a plonker
  8. Following on from what Neil has said......... and nicked from another thread the brake bleeding procedure is: Bleeding Brake System AFS000U0 CAUTION: While bleeding, pay attention to master cylinder fluid level. 1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position. 2. Connect a vinyl tube to the rear left air bleeder. 3. Fully depress brake pedal 4 to 5 times. 4. With the brake pedal depressed, loosen the air bleeder to let the air out, and then tighten it immediately. 5. Repeat steps 3, 4 until no more air comes out. 6. Tighten the air bleeder to the specified torque. Refer to BR-25, "Components" ,BR-31, "Component" ,BR- 38, "Components" ,BR-44, "Components" . 7. In steps 2 to 6 below, with the master cylinder reservoir tank filled at least half way, bleed air from the front right, rear right, and front left tires, in that order

  10. The MX5 is still for sale Yes, had a few time wasters but no sale, I now have three cars, of which are all two seaters are you saying you might need 4 seats then
  11. Same for me and makes the lbft torque a shade over 300 at the fly whereas it is about 260 at the hubs and I see from the dyno thread the two are variously quoted, which of course can distort perceptions. Mark @ Abbey certainly shys away from set percentage calcs between the fly and hubs as there are a host of variables - i.e. see here: http://www.rndengineering.co.uk/page_p1 ... horsepower
  12. The fact their other 2 listings for a lip and rear spolier do include the words Nismo style, you would certainly hope that the one Sparky has won is genuine as the ad does not include the word "style" , although just what the damage is another matter. I would take a screen shot of the ad just in case.......
  13. Perhaps there ought to be an emphasis on minimum sentences being set in law - issued maybe when someone pleads guilty, and then a sliding scale up to a maximum which the Judges, Magistrates, prosecution and lawyers can see up front will apply in particular circumstances taking into past record etc. But something needs to be done to deter these brainless morons who are putting two fingers up and laughing at the system as it is.
  14. The MX5 is still for sale
  15. I had a similar sympton with my first (2004) ZED when I first got it. Turned out to be a rear pad sticking - supplying garage clearned out both rear calipers and copper greased the shims/back of pads and problem solved. Suggest you check that first, as a whole cheaper fix than the clicky axle repair and I have to say with the axle issue, and having heard several, you usually hear a series of clicks not just one - get someone outside to listen as you move the car back and forth to help identify the actual noise
  16. So you like the "fangs"? I didn't when the 370 was first released and although on the darker colours they are less prominent they weren't for me on my chosen colour. I also decided to 'match' the wrapping at the rear - having seen a few painted examples on the US 370 forums helped convince me. Beauty of the wrap is that with the aid of some hot air you can remove it. But after 18 months I certainly have no plans to do that and it is as good as the day it was done - well done the guys at rgva (Trader on here). Not sure if you have seen my thread after I had it and the exhaust done (an essential 370 upgrade), but here it is: viewtopic.php?f=103&t=31681&hilit=wrapping On the face of it the car you have spotted looks fine and with low mileage - obviously subject to the usual checks. Likely that the tyres will need replacing soon - check the tread and for a decent set of tyres you need to budget C£1k although a set of Falkens 452's might save you £400, but the sidewalls are really too soft, unless you are soft with your right foot
  17. I got your message
  18. If its any comfort, it treats the mods in just the same way
  19. It was back in May he apologized for not being able to spend time on here and address member's queries and from his lack of posting that situation appears to persist. So lets see his answer and then the question of locking the thread can be reviewed.
  20. That's what I like to hear
  21. Agreed. If the right level deterrents are in place it does the job - here we seemed to have reached a stage where our "deterrents" on getting caught are seen as adding to the street cred Can you wonder when Parliament invited petitions that the first to gain the greatest support was that to bring back the death penalty.
  22. You sure, because there was also another vid of yours we saw at the same junction of the same car doing something equally silly. Don't take us for fools Post that type of thing again and you won't last long on here
  23. +infinity...+1 You listen to the parents, and they are scraping the barrel intelligence wise, they have three kids, they tell these kids they don't need school and that the government should feed and clothe them and cater to their every need. Oh life isn't fair that people that spend years training, learning and better themselves get better paid jobs over them who sit on their backsides doing nothing. The hard working and intelligent people are being outbred, like the Currys girl earlier, these kids are about five or six years behind their age in intelligence, and before anyone says it its NOT the government, schools or anyone elses fault but their own. I went to the fourth worst school in the country and got my GCSEs, A-Levels and Degree, sorry but I just don't buy it. Knowing you are expecting a child and sure as hell won't want or let them grow up like we have seen, what do you suggest is done to stop the rot? As a grandparent I am extremely proud how my son and daughter-in-law are making sure their two childern know right from wrong at 3 and 1 years old and are being taught good manners and routines - basic discipline in other words. I just hope when they get to school the disciplne continues there and that children of the ilk we now see ruining this country don't undermine the good parenting that has taken place
