When I got my 370 the local Nissan dealer didn't want to know about servicing although they had looked after the previous two 350's. (something to do with money the dealers have to fork out fo specialist equipment/training I believe) I now use Motorline Nissan at Tunbridge Wells (HPC centre) and recommend you do the same Mark - although its a little drive away - you'll get a free loan car (usually a 370 rather than a GTR I'm afraid ). Ask for Ian Fraser and don't forget to mention you are on here

Are you using the syncro-rev? If not try it, and remember it works on upshifts as well as downshifts. I've never had "terrible crunch" though in the two and half years and 17k miles I have have driven my 370
