  1. possibly but not on mine. the typhoon air scoop is in the way, plus i don't want to make holes in my mesh that size. mines going in under the bumper, as its easier to mount there. plus the radiator is quite close, not sure how they sqeezed it in there. by all means you can try, but looks like more work than i'm willing to try
  2. the wood is oak so hard wearing, but its sealed in plastic, so the water can't get to it. and it fits snuggly into the gap
  3. nope it just attatches to the square in the nismo bumper, i cut my numberplate down to fit. when i replace mine with the retractable one, you can have my block of wood if you like
  4. i made my own in my workshop piece of oak vacuum formed in black polystyrene both sides, and a few double sided sticky pads and bobs your uncle its pretty invisible and sturdy and has been fitted and stayed fitted for 3 months now without even a wobble. its a temp measure anyway, as i'm looking at retro fitting the swift system under the car
  5. done it to mine, but when i move my plate, i shall go back to the black vinyl over the square which makes it invisible
  6. i might try and pop down, depends if i'm working that weekend.
  7. That's basically what CS said also ... I like the look of the Ultimax too over the Turbo Grooved ... and seeing as performance is more or less the same ... it's an easy choice ... I think I'm going to have to get my tyres replaced before I get the brakes sorted as they are more urgent ... think the turbo groove are marginally better at withstanding the heat and less likely to warp under track conditions.
  8. would defo go for the yellow stuff over the red. ultimax from what i gather are quieter under breaking thats probably the setup i'll go for, ultimax or turbo groove, will decide on the day
  9. or turn off the forum while you do lesson plans and marking p.s. do the kids get better marks if you are laughing at something in the forum? marking?
  10. looks like an allan bolt connection, just unbolt the hook part, rub it down, hang it on some wire, and spray it. or get it powder coated for about £15 at most i would guess
