  1. stew is it possible to cut all the written posts out of this one and dump them in a new thread for us. pretty please with a cheery on top
  2. this is only a flip up option, mount from underneath the bumper, or from inside the grille. the issue is with nismo bumpers the bars in the middle will cause major issue with the drop down one pointed earlier. dimensions wise when retracted it is about 1.5 inches in depth and needs 9 inches from front of bumper to the back of the mechanism. wasn't exactly sure what you wanted size wise, so i hope i gave you what you needed
  3. Why? Im genuinely interested here - the Z33 is a beautiful car as standard but it can definitely be improved, Im just interested to see how other peoples opinions differ to mine. This is a discussion board isnt it?? RTB - the cars Ive posted have all had arch work and suspension work over and above coilovers to make them like that. If you look at the first pic you can see the grey car has a different front bumper and different skirts - the back bumper is different too, but I cant find any other pics atm. The red car has a different lip and different skirts as well, but it is the wheel fitment that attracts me to all of them TBH. If your taste is for the OE look then fair enough, but I have to say Im surprised. no disrespect about your choices, i like them, i just go the impression wheels are your weakness
  4. was waiting on 10, if you join thats the full numbers and i'll have a good bargaining amount order wise. i'll aim for end of this month beginning of next. they are in stock (i think so its just shipping time.)

    205 GTi

awesome cars, back when peugeot made great cars. i had a 306 GTI6 which i think was the last of their good cars. not quite the same as the 205 gti's a different beast all together.
  6. one thing about the car is it does look good standard. i like your choices docwra, but most of them just seem to have a wheel and suspension upgrade and thats it. i think the big thing i find, is there are lots of bits off different cars that make up my dream Zed. wheels form one car, spoiler off another, front from another, etc etc. i suppose this is what makes this thread good, lots of ideas in one place.
  7. i'm aiming for about £100-£110 for the motorised ones delivered to the UK. will Email the bloke tonight. been busy with work last 2 days, am off as off about now for 3 days
  8. 12 years driving modded cars, and 5 different forums, i've never heard of anyone being pulled by the VOSA or the police for a mod check. i think they tend to target the corsa crews etc
  9. as long as the number plate is on display, when ever you are on a public highway there is no issue, your only get yourself in trouble if your caught with it retracted and not visible. how are they going to know that it retracts unless they see you doing it. and if your only doing it at shows, then there isn't an issue.
  10. seems there is a national tyre shortage, have you tried the tyremen for vredesteins? http://www.tyremen.co.uk/terms.html they are vredestein stockists
  11. i think it was his time of the month think he was just having an off day, we all have them, he's usually a good sport
  12. numbrt plate is mounted and at the front, then its legal, if you drive with it retracted, then its illegal
  13. when did this start? first i heard of it? did i miss an earlier post? don't think i have any decent pics for entering no time to clean the car tomorrow and take them
  14. much better than the toyo when it comes to side wall stiffness, not as stiff as michelin pilot sports, but still a very communicative and controllable tyre. have a search on here, there are several reviews now not heard anyone complain about them
  15. if your stupiud enough to stick her on the internet, regardless of looks, your asking for a flaming
  16. order from camskills, or go for the vredestein ultrac sessantas, much better tyre
  17. bridgestones aren't that bad, they may loose grip but its always progressive and easy to control. some other tyres have excellent grip all the way up to when they loose it then they just snap. re040's make for excellent rack tyres, as for driving in the wet etc, you just have to be aware that they might not grip for as long as you want.
  18. its kind of open ended at the moment as i'm still working things out. shall we say end of week. i'll organise it for 10, but check to see if he won't mind sticking extras on at the end of the week. i'm also going to swap mine to a manual version, as it makes more sense for me,
  19. Difficult question to answer, depends on how practical you are. Have a look inside your grille see what you think. I don't think it would be tha hard. Cuttig mesh is easy. You just have to workout how to mount it in there. Plenty of space by the looks of it. I have idea on how so should be that hard.
  20. Original plate, just cut it down on my bandsaw at work and then polished the edges up.
  21. the old setup (originally sporting sketches lip) current setup the look i'm aiming for (again) thought this might help being in the right place, on my last pic there will eventually be a red tow hook eye in the middle
  22. i need somewhere to mount my plate, and i don't like any of the nissan mounting points, plus i find the plate very ugly, so for meets etc i like the ability to remove it for the clean front look would have been simpler to get a pretty plate like me mwhaha seems alot of trouble to me number plate mess's up the whole look of the front of the car, it pained me to put my plate back on, but wanted to stay legal. i also didn't want to drill huge holes in my bumper that were visible. actually looking at the pic i just posted up, fitting looks pretty easy
