  1. I will now be coming down to this on the Sunday morning for definate as I have a mates birthday party the night before. See you all on the Sunday morning. Where are we meeting?
  2. Spotted a GM Coupe trying to get into the Ramada / Etap car park in salford quays last night and then on the pavement of the entrance this morning as I was leaving the hotel. Anyone on here?
  3. The other thing that no-one has mentioned is that whatever garage is writing this statement has to be sure they have the knowledge to judge whether your alarm is working well enough. If it isn't then the insurance company could come back to them if your Zed goes missing. This will be why a lot of places didn't want to know about it
  4. Yeah makes perfect sense. So who's up for the Camping Saturday night?
  5. Camping at Pod is a must. Would this be included in the tickets?
  6. Definately let him know that you had given the car a good clean beforehand and know it wasn't there and that he's the only one that's been anywhere near it. He may admit to it and offer to pay. Like you said tho there's no proof so if he is an arse about it there's not a great deal you can do
  7. Hi Ian , how's you I know the more I think what he blames his actions on the more it bugs me my bro in law spent a long time in Iraq n saw some awful things but has got on with life , yeah think it's just an excuse to mess with the heads of women he meets , I'm good thanks Mitch, how about yourself? Yeah it's just an excuse so that it's not his fault by the sounds of it. He's admitted the real reason so if it was really Iraq he wouldn't have another reason
  8. Sorry to hear about this Mitch, you deserve better. Can't stand people that use things like Iraq as an excuse as to why they are acting like complete cocks. I have a few mates that are soldiers and it hasn't affected them. It does affect some and people just see it as an excuse they can use to get out of blaming themselves. Be strong and you'll find someone who deserves to be with ya Just remember that every Frog ya kiss get's ya one step closer to ya Prince
  9. As for the OS, the question on whether you'll get 32 bit and 64 bit with your laptop. The answer will generally be No. If you buy OEM software you only get the one you buy. Laptops will generally come with OEM Operating Systems and as such will only be supplied with the one you buy. But as someone else said I wouldn't worry I'm running a 64 bit Windows 7 and as of yet I haven't had to try to find out how good the compatibility mode is as I haven't come across anything I need that doesn't run fine and I'm still using Office 2003 so it's not the latest software As for speakers USB powered means your battery (if using the laptop on battery) will drain quicker. Also generally Mains powered ones will be better. I would go for a nice cheap(ish) 2.1 speaker system if it's for music
  10. www.speedtest.net is what Virgin recommend you to use. If you've got the 50mb broadband that they supply apparently the only server they recon can test that properly on that site is the London server
  11. Brilliant story & write up So were you more worried when you were sliding towards the tree or when your gf was redlining it in the grass?
  12. Anyone travelling down on the Sunday from the North West / West Midlands area?
  13. Mac's will almost always be faster but be prepared they are also always more expensive Mac's are generally used more for things like video editing, sound editing, image editing etc
