  1. was he turning your car into a targa top ?
  2. saw avatar and liked it, felt the 3D stuff helped give more depth to the visuals. but saw alice i wonderland and didn't see the benefit of 3d with it. i'm not 100% convinced, i don't like wearing the 3d specs over my own glasses and find it uncomfortable. although i'm looking at swapping to contacts this year. have also noticed on sky HD box that if you select the hd page, there is now Sky 3D channel. and of course its a subscription only channel. and i;m guessing you'll need a 3D TV to enjoy it as well i think its asmall step in the great leap towards full holo-suits
  3. hey i'm young and impatient, don't blame me, blame society
  4. sorry i'd already voted for mad marky
  5. that kind of comment annoys me (nothing personal bennett ) there is nothing wrong with being sensible sometimes. just because the car goes fast doesn't mean you have to drive it like it has a bomb in it. i like to get the most out of a tank sometimes, especially on long drives, if you have the money to **** fuel up the wall then congratulations, but some of us have other things to buy... like mods for the car i must admit as costs have gone up i am trying to be more economical. budgets get tighter so you have to tighten your belt sometimes.
  6. isn't android just a copy of the apple system, the reason apple was so good was that it had an opperating system that just worked. i always found windows based items full of glitches. the iphone has just been excellent. it might not be the fastest. but it just does it.
  7. That's why i only fill up in little amounts every other day, don't seem as much......... & i get to see the lovely Bev on the checkout wotsit you big tart
  8. cheers for that, i'll keep it for just on the washes i use the wax.
  9. never happen, plastic doesn't have the structural rigidity for continuous use. plus that would have cost a small fortune to build nice idea though
  10. i have the same products i wash my car once a month and alternate the supernatural wax and the red mist each month. mine still beads every month right up to the clean. if applying red mist ontop of SN wax leave it a couple of days other wise it takes the wax off. you need to leave the wax to harden for a a couple of days. if your a more fastidious washer you could wax once a month and red mist fortnightly i also lime and prime after every wash but i use the lime and prime light. and i also clay the car twice a year to strip back the wax and any contaminants in the paint.
  11. thanks guys will try and get fitted pictures up over the weekend
  12. used aero's on a previous car can't say i was that impressed, but that maybe because they were ebay ones. currently use PIAA wipers with Rainex'd screen and the performance is stunning, not seen anything come close. once the rainex runs out i'm swapping to a full PIAA setup thats wipers Screen wash additive and their screen cleaner which does the same as rainex. just with rainex and PIAA blades i hardly ever touch my wipers. anything over 40 mph and the water just beads off, most times i don't even bother using the wipers as there is no need, i only really use them when doing under 40 mph. length of use had mine for just over a year and the drivers side needs replacing, but you can get refill blades so you don't have to fork out for a whole new wiper and just replace the rubber. the PIAA wiper arm still looks pristine. expensive; yes, but worth the investment
  13. i used to use the megs gold wax with 100% carnuba wax in. it has a great finish but since swapping to dodo juice supernatural wax (hard wax) i've noticed big difference. its far easier to apply than the megs stuff and takes alot less effort to use. lasts longer than the megs stuff. i still use the megs NXT wash which is wax friendly i wax every other month and use dodo juice red mist quick detailer in between waxes.
  14. its the design of this one, if you mount ontop it has huge gaps. even on a standard front bumper. it would flap around and vibrate
  15. couple of pics here viewtopic.php?f=26&t=26939

  20. if you'd like a set i can do some for you but i think its a case of forming an orderly queue. you'd need to paint first, then you need to allow time for the paint to harden between coats and before applying vinyl. so you'd need to be without door handles for about 3 days. if you do it properly. why does it need to be painted first? the handles are bright silver the reason i painted it black first is so that you can't see inside the handle. the vinyl covers most areas but if you dodn't paint the handle the inside bit would become very noticeable against the black.
