  1. what are your first impressions then? very different to the iphone, i've got very used to the iphone and knew where everything is, am now re learning the new phone. the HTC feels a bit more... dare i say.... grown up. but the iphone is just one of those phoens you can pick up and just use. its a very instinctive phone. speed wise the HTC is a lot quicker than my old 3G screen is better as well, but then i am comparing to the older style iphone not the new 4g. give me a couple of weeks and ask me again then. when i've had to use it properly for a while and got some apps downloaded onto it.
  2. i've just switched my 3g off, as i now have my new HTC desire
  3. your performance mechanic is right

  9. best paint for this kind of work is from paints4u.com best colour matches i've come across with the best spraying nozzles; and good quality paint. another tip is not to just mask the area and spray the area as you'll end up with a ridge where the paint sits on top of the old paint. use a piece of card with a hole cut out of it rougly the same size as the damaged area. hold it about 3 inches above where your spraying and spray through it (keeping the can about 20-30 cm away from the card) this will help to feather the paint. and aid with the blending. same technique with the laquer. and the primer. make sure you use the right primer for the colour, primer will change the end colour; i think GM is meant to have a white primer but i might be wrong and it could be a grey. you'll never get it as good as a body shop but it should help. i'd also recommend doing some test cards with different primers and paint on top. make sure you get the best finish.
  10. if it returns then do the throttle pedal reset
  11. Yes; get it
  12. god that clip reminds me of playing with husky on COD
  13. remap will bring the car alive add in any mods with it you want for extra noise/bhp before hand if you want to. and then spend your cash on driver training, will make the most out of the car. most people don't use most of the cars potential and think the answer is more power. learn to drive it properly and you could shave seconds off lap times; more than most power mod. and you'll have great fun learning it all at the same time. for out and out gains FI is the only way forward Most NA mods will be more for noise than for go. they'll make a slight difference but you'll spend thousands for very little oomph. the remap will bring out the biggest change in feel for the least amount of cash. go see abbey they know what they're talking about and they tune not just lizards track car but many others as well. they know more about car and track setups for cars than any average joe weekend track warrior and won't disappoint.
  14. works both ways
  15. if sticking with that date, then i should be up for it. if lucy joins me though would be another thing. she only does so much camping before she's had enough for the year. she's already told me shes not coming to JAE in september so will check this one.
  16. We're going to the Loire valley and then stopping off in Normandy on the way back. Think the Loire is central and meant to be very nice. We booked last year when we got back from our last holiday as good campsites book up quick. Have a google for French campsites. Look at the pics. And then search to see if any reviews are about. Sites linked wiu places like eurocamp and other places tend to ne good. Just. A research job.
  17. i had an mr2 roadster about 5 years ago awesome fun to drive, not bad mpg cheap to mod cheap to buy now. and you can turbo it for under 2k. mid engine rear wheel drive and weighs under a ton. bhp may not be has high as the zed but it would be hard to beat for fun factor.
  18. k-series engines are good and some of them are the most tunable NA engines around. as for the head gaskets they can go, but your looking at alot more mileage before your at risk. just keep an eye on the coolant bottle if it starts to go milky its on its way out. if it goes it will be replacement gaskets and a head skim for around 550 quid
  19. its not a queen wasp does look hornety hornet http://image.guardian.co.uk/sys-images/ ... dha460.jpg
  20. more a heads up; text speak isn't very popular on here and the likes of some people will see you suffer a long term of grammar persecution. i'm dsylexic and have suffered the grammar nazis on multiple occassions
  21. only way you'll compete with the mustang is to supercharge the Zed, if you want to feel faster under acceleration then lots have commented positively on the throttle controller, won't give more power but does make the throttle more responsive. if staying NA then a remap will help but if you want to make the most of it you'll need to spend a bit in the first place doing exhaust, plenum spacer y pipe de cats etc by the time you add all that up you might as well look at the super chargers. you'll get more power straight off, as NA modding won;t make a massive difference unless you spend mega bucks; which defeats the object when you compare it against the super charger.
  22. always said football was a girls sport now thats the kind of world cup i'd watch
  23. if it cuts the wastage and improves services and i don't have to pay more for the privilege then im all for it
  24. so what do people think are going to be the main impacts. my view is based on whats been done before, i.e privatised rail service, means increased prices and a worse service. with some areas which are good, but its pot luck depending on who runs that section. same with water and the electric. will be interesting to see what happens. will this mean we will all need health insurance and follow a similiar likes of the states ?
