i've always found BMW very helpful, i got offered a Z4M for a weekend a couple of years ago when i was looking for the Zed, both audi and nissan were crap.

what would you reccomend in stead if you had to have more seats? budget of around £15k

the merc is nice, especially the 2009 edition, but i'm just not quiet feeling it, i like the BMw's more aggressive look i must be destined to be a grade a git.

never saw either, but i remember captain scarlet and thunderbirds and stingray. i'm 28, and was more a mask, and transformers kid.

This has been interesting as this poll has stemmed from a conversation/argument husky and i had the other night. next year i might be needing a bigger car with 4 seats, and i've been racking my brains on what to get. i love the S2000 but it might have to be swapped out in the summer. i've kind of settled on the M3 for the money, looking at the E46 with the straight 6 not the E92 with the V8 and husky reckons the audi S4 is better. i also still want to keep the convertible life so will be probably getting the vert and not the coupe. and i like the cinammon leather just goes to show the old horses for courses thing. we all have different tastes. i really like the m3, but husky says if i buy one he'll only ride in it if i get him a brown paper bag to put over his head. if any one has any suggestions of possible alternatives then let me know as both me and husky are stumped on what to look at; especially as i've spent weeks trawling piston heads classifieds.

when we were looking at buying their was a local housing fair (i usppose you could call it) with free impartial advice and people there to expalin all the options in our county. what the implications were, and what would be best to suit us. i think it was run by the council and was held at a local hotel. was interesting and answered alot of questions. we found we weren't eligble for some of the really good schemes as we earned to much. might eb worth speaking to your local authority, they may be able to point you in the right direction.

i'd have the M3; all the w4nkers left BMW and went and bought audi's; so BMw is safe to own again. must admit its a tough choice, both are about the same price. one 4wd the other rwd, audi is too understated for my liking.

This cars main benefit is that it should reignite the french market for peugeot. as even the french had got bored of a lot of the pugs recent offerings. it has its market segment and i think it will perform well.

the garage i got my s2k from still have their number plate on the front of the car. Binks of Beccles and they were a top garage.

still has the club sticker in the window though

nope just going on the facts that i read over 135 pages. and not making sweeping statements (as thats sladerous; and this is an open forum) good car; bad garage. if people are interested just make sure they go in with their eyes wide open. pm me for more details on the car before hand and be prepared to battle hard for the price. don't take any crap from them.

nothing those wheels would be instantly missed and the engine bay is identical to when i left it. as is the aftermarket satnav, gear gaitors and air filter. plus it looks like the last garage (who are very good) tidied up the rear bumper as it had a couple of marks. the main issue with them is their high prices and their lack of after sale care. but if you get a good one from them then thre tends not to be a problem

look at that i had only put 29000 on it oops, looks like they're being more up front these days.

the dealership i sold it too had it up for £13500, i would have sold it to a forum member for £13000 back in june. i just hope it goes to a good home, the car is pristine. as for the mileage, no it will still be in the 30's but they have a habit of under quoting the mileage on adds to get people in; not by much, but it is a habit of theirs. go read the 135 page thread of them over on the S2k forum
