  1. try camskills as for the car, have a sit down with alex and work out what you want to achieve, then get the bits and build the car to that idea. my mistake was not deciding on what i was aiming for with my car and it ended up a mixing pot of ideas. all good. but none leading to a final good idea. if you want a track based car then you want maximum grip; so a decent set of tyres, possibly wider; good brakes and fluids and possibly a stiffer setup. if you want show car, then you possibly want to slam it, mega wide wheels with either fitting or stretched tyres depending on choice. and any number of other add ons to make it look pretty.
  2. Th reason I'm askin is because I don't want traction control issues as long as the rolling radius is the same as stock then you won't How do I work out the rolling radius? with an online tyre caluclator. you put in the current wheel size and then add the new wheel size on the other side and it will tell you what % the new wheel is out by and how much it will effect you mileometer reading.
  3. you run a risk of the traction control going do lally.
  4. the zed is a heavy car, and the more you push it the more it will become apparent. it is in its essence a GT cruise and not an out and out sports car. it will eat the miles on a long drive with ease; have loads of trque for overtaking without needing to drop a cog. if you want to run the zed on the track you'll need to upgrade the discs and padsstiffen up the suspension; tighten the chassis slightly. and if your into modding and expect to get big gains from tuning and mods; again the zed will disappoint, filters, exhausts etc will have very little impact. unless you go FI then you need deep pockets. the Zed is very capable but find the right example; plenty to choose from so very much a buyers market and not a sellers market.
  5. need to try a few, so many of them are treated like crap and left to the maintanence of Nissan (bad idea) the gear box is a week area, but if you find a well maintained one they are good. especially once they get som e heat into them. the gear box is at its best once the car is fully warmed up. juddering in the steering sounds more like a wheel balance issue. and irregualr pressure.

  7. adjusts over time, althoguh you can do a reset if it makes you feel better.
  8. good to see some of my vinyl made it through to the second paint job
  9. i thought i showed this to you ages a go husky
  10. ive it 500 miles for the exhaust to coke up inside and then it willl really come to life.
  11. if i was rich i would have that in the garage.
  12. i heard a rumor the saisnbury super is BP super also murco super is actually higher octane than stated. (also a rumour) texaco is nasty stuff
  13. chilli red would be my first point of call, they can find you the originals' or if you need to spend less then good copies. just be warned that bying cheaper copies doesn't neccassary mean cheaper costs. what you save on the kit you may end up spending in the bodyshop making them look better.
  14. go on the tyre sites and look under the "ghey" section all the info is in there on a more useful basis; how stretched do you want to go, are we talking a little stretch or so stretched you can see the rim on its own and it look slike the tyre was painted on?
  15. black marker is not wrong, like ekona i've use dit on black wheels. and it can often be more subtle than touch up paint which leaves high points if done badly.
  16. the car will adjust to run on the lower grade fuel. some cars deal with it better than others. lower fuel generally loses you about 20-30 bhp and worse fuel economy,
  17. most of the car grpahics done like the motul nismo one will be a full wrap. makes for a seemless finish. no edges on each image etc. the sides would be printed as a solid graphic with all images on in one, so no overlaping or layering.
  18. its amazing how tastes change in 12 months. i talked about decalling mine up a while back for track days etc, and basically got told my car would be Ghey if i did i like it by the way, looks good
