  1. same as any other rag top with a hardtop. my hardtops on now over the winter and its protecting the vinyl roof very nicely from the frost. admittedly i'm not sure of the look on the zed, but if it gives owners the hardroof they need, then its all good

uniroyal rainsport 2's are worth a look, meant to have very good grip, but side wall is a little soft, so depends on what you like. others to consider are goodyear eagle F1 assymetrics

on the 350z i used the Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas they were very good, and for the standard OEM tyre sizes i think they work very well and give a good balance of grip and cost. on my current car; my S2k i run the falken 452's, i've been really impressed by them, but that is on a lighter car with a wider tyre and a lower profile; which seems to remove some of the issues others have suffered in the Zed. other favourites are the toyo;s and the michelin pilot sports (MPS2's are very good but mucho expensive) lots of other options out there. have a look at the tyre review thread.

they seem newish out, personally i'd go with what you know. but if you want to try them out then go for it, if they're that cheap then its not to much hassle to throw them out and put something decent on inf they are crap. my only question is; with the weather this time of the year is now the bes time to be field testing an unknown tyre?

http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/ they are on the list but i don't think they come even close to falken, and falken aren't expensive, if you want cheaper than falken i'd try putting elastic bands round your rims. build up the layers
  6. i've had the same in snow with the back of my car weaving left to right, and yet still some moronic ignoramus was planted firmly up the rear of my exhaust. on the same drive i also watched people useing brakes to go on to a snow covered roundabout and then slide uncontrolably into oncoming traffic. there is a very large hole in our driver training that actually teaches people how to drive.
  7. got 3 left to cut, will try and do tonight, had lots of marking to do so the decals went on holder for 48 hours.
  8. we've got to think of this in a marketing way so think of it as; if you were choosing one to put in/on your car which one would it be?
  9. I have an a level student who is planning on using Carbon in his a level project; during his research he has found that there is a very wide variety of carbon weaves. so for his project he needs to do some research on peoples opinions/likes/dislikes of these. he has picked 3 main weaves that are generally used. (these are computer recreations of carbon to give the most accurate picture of the weave) what i need you guys to do is pick your favourite, feel free to discuss this in the thread. thanks in advance

  12. i tried using a sat nav cubby but the unit is too big, the trick i found was a bit of velcro on the top edge and it wedges in beautifully. no need for any other mods.

  16. its not the best sealing car with the windows etc so moisture is able to get into the car then it fogs up. big silica bag might help.

  19. if its a forsale post then any posts regardless of who they are has to be cleared by the mods team. if you read the sticky at the top of the for sale section this would of course all be very apparent as all the info is in there
