  1. Does anyone know how i can deactivate the passenger airbag in my 350z 2005? Basically I want to be able to use a child seat.
  2. Bought a set of Vredestein Wintrac Extremes for my 350z in October and theyve been excellent in the 2 snowy periods weve had so far. They cut through thick snow and not been stuck at all even going up fairly steep gradients. You still need to be sensible in extreme conditions. Strangely the grip seems to improve in temperatures below 0deg C on dry roads. They dont have stiff side walls so the ride is spongier. on these particular tyres they need at least 1000miles before they embed.
  3. Hi All, Does anyone have good advice on best tyres for wet , cold damp weather for my standard 350z,would be appreciated. Really after the best grip especially seeing that frost is setting in already; and not too concerned about price or rate of wear?
  4. I gotta say it looks a mutha RT! Nice job.
  5. All this about differnt tyres / rear wheel drive etc seems like good advice , however the tyres are in virtually new condition. The steering ought to be crisper nevertheless. Just wander if getting new bushes might make the difference?
  6. Falken Fk 452 on front and Bridgestone RE050 rear at 35psi
  7. Ive had my 350 for a week now. Had my geometry reset to factory settings with CS / Mitesh in Leicester. Great guy by the way - really helpful and made time to meet up and sort it even though he had a hectic schedule - so thanks Mitesh! Result: steering dead on centre now (was off to the right) . CAr feels good and stable at normal speeds but on motorway high speeds it still feels like theres not enough road feedback coming through the steering wheel and not enough precision in the steering. (Tyres are all good by way.) Anyone else notice this? I know the roads are cold at the moment which doesnt help but my Integra Type R in this weather delivers tight precise steering with tons of feedback in the steering.
  8. On B roads and driving around town - car feels stable and rooted. But on motorway steering feels looser and tender to veer off. If there are ruts laid down by car tyres on the road (as in indentations in the road surface) it tends to drift toward these.
  9. Thanks for all the welcomes - makes me feel good. I certainly will give CS in leicester a bell tommorrow and see if I can book in to get the geometry done. Let you guys know how I get on.
  10. HI, acquired a 350z today! Wow - it really is a beast!! I really need to get the geometry done asap. Any one know where? I live in Birmingham. Also after a vertical toneau? Cheers guys!
