  1. the sat nav ones have no box on the back and give alot more space the also have a small frame to the front; all you had to do was trim 2 semi circles out of one side to allow for the f500 controls on the left. here are the pics i just fished out of my PB account satnav cubby box cubby fitment issue in the satnav cubby
  2. yeah, same here, but I didn't get as far as taking the cubby out.. just seems like too much hassle to modify the thing and I'm not sure I'd be able to cut it up without making a massive mess 2 different types of cubby, normal one with a strage box, and a flip lid, and a second on edesigned for satnavs with a retractable cubby.
  3. awesome looking party, they certainly know how to throw a shindig
  4. speak to r35lee i'm sure he can sort you out
  5. i worked out you could fit the f500 behind the satnav cubby (used to be able to get it from jdm performance for about 100.00, i bought 1 but in order to do it you woud have to cut the sides off the avic, i didn't have the balls for that esecially as there was the odd led in the way. it would then fit oem style. just depends on how brave your feeling
  6. the super sprint does sound nice
  7. i really like the idea of the smg and have been looking at nav screen only ones. great looking example by the way sarnie. must admit i;m intrigued to hear this rasp in person see what i think
  8. no its not its says its still open; thats why i just posted this yea but to what avail ? i get the point,
  9. same here, we just have ice now on the roads
  10. no its not its says its still open; thats why i just posted this
  11. agreed and the black alacantra would look far better, and give you that lovely soft to the touch feeling
  12. ferrari V8 loks very pretty
  13. i take that back http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p not bad at 14.5 k
  14. i have toyed with the idea of the maserati 3200; but prefer the 4200 but they are a little too expensive. but very nice.
  15. its alright hugh; just as intrigued as you? i would have thought in its natural form it will become unwoven, and in its hardened form it wil be too hard to get back in the car? am interested to see some pics of it done. i know there are some imitation carbon fabrics which could do it with.
  16. I think once you get over the M3's rasp, you'll find it a bit cold and not that involving, but being technically a fantastic drivers car. It had to be driven with traction control off to have some feel to it imho, but then it felt oh so heavy imo. this is the thing; until i get to drive it i'm basing everything on theory and specualtion. i know there will be compromises to make with any car, i had them with the Zed i have them with the S and i'm sure i'll have some with the replacement.
  17. any examples on other marques Rich ? are we talking about carbon in its natural form or after its been hardened with a resin?
  18. 6 inches isn't bad Rich .... don't feel left out no reaction ???? sorry just read it they do say thats the national average. in fact at 6" i'm slightly over the national average
  19. the rex's are nice, and well balanced but they are; ... i don;t know... just not me. went to see one at mazda, and just didn't bond with it. love the suide doors, but has less kit than the M3, it should by every means be a great car, but i'm the same about the GTR's technically faultless but do nothing for me. bizzare i know, but i suppose its like blokes who like ugly girls (i re phrased this before i posted it ); there is obviously a very good reason why they are togehter, but to all the outside on lookers they can;t guess why.
  20. i do like the CSL but they go for very high money and they seem to be an appreciating asset. more than i can afford. but agreed the CS wheels are v nice.
  21. here it is http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsArtic ... rs/247566/
  22. too true still waiting on toyota and scooby to pull their fingers out on the ft-86 coupe thing they were working on. is that not cancelled following the death of the test driver ? i know they killed off the new supra but they had a smaller zed style thing coming out, both used silly letter acronymns, so might have mixed them up.
  23. i'm looking forward to test driving over the next 6 months. i may rule cars out after i've driven them, one thing to like it on paper and in the pictures, but its another thing to drive it. might go m3 testing at the weekend, i know of a place enar by that has about 13 m3's ranging from manuals to autos and coupes to verts. probably the best opportunity to have a proper comparison and find out which model i like and if the m3 is for me or not.
  24. Why? just don't like R8s ..................... ........... from day 1 1) use fuel 2) use oil 3) don't look cool 4) can't be bought in a nice colour 5) don't perform as advertised 6) need I go on ? so thats a no then ....
