  1. its alright husky i dont care either. i bought the stook under similiar circumstances
  2. thats alright husky i'm not the one in a fat girls car kidding
  3. No, optional extra they are not usually fitted though as there are BMW lanes on most motorways so we don't need to change that often. do you get like a parking permit for the outside lane with the BMW; do i have to register my name? i read on one of the forums that to get commoners to move out the way you just drive right up close behind them and flash your lights? is this correct. and apparently to say than k you i have to stick my middle finger up as i go past. apparently this is the universal BMW symbol of thanks. going to a german car seems to require a lot of extra learning. is there a test?
  4. if its japanese it won;t be a GT the japs had a different options bracket and names think they had r sport and s sport and a few others; plus there kit level differed some had things others didn't brembos were always a big give away on a GT, but jdms had it on some but not others as it was an option. cruise control is the other give away, but again on the JDM it wass an option
  5. people in the know will get it; but your average jo won;t know what nismo is; let alone nisnmo but i like it and it does look like a private plate, and is far more obvious than alot of the toot i've seen, and you've managed it without funny letters and blanking bolt heads etc.
  6. cor i go away for 8 hours and come back to mayhem i am a bit of a fat boy so that seems to have seal the deal for the M3 i never started this thread, and wasn't looking for people to tell me what to get, i have pretty much worked out what i want, and spoken to the people whos opinions i hold in high regard; but it is nice to hear peoples thoughts and left field suggestions. as it gives me more things to test drive one question about beemers though; i know indicators were optional on alot of models but were they a standard OEM fit for the M3 ?
  7. gin tonic ice and a slice for me though the gin really makes the GT a GT
  8. i love my superleggera's they are very nice wheels, the leggera 3's suit the zed much better
  9. sorry to hear this, glad your ok
  10. yes they are the superleggera 3's as they were as ian said right back in his 2nd post the only ones with a 2 part wheel forged wheel with that size lip in that design made by oz.
  11. never get away with that spacing and the undersized L. and that price is mental
  12. i thought they were 1.5 way, but must admit i don't know about the LSD on the zed, never played with it.
  13. latin for "what was to be demonstrated" or something like that i have the superleggra's on my stook and they don't have a lip like that but the spokes are almost identical, the ultraleggra's had thinner spokes and exposed more of behind the wheel
  14. good effort, not always the easiest stuff to use.
  15. sorry biggy but thats all too shiney for me. don't mind an all black interior but i think with an alacantra roof and the lovely soft feel to it; would make the zed cabin a lovely place to be.

    My new Zed

is that a pulsar? looks v nice; lot of effort gone into that. hope you enjoy the new zed
  17. ignore the narrow minded troglodytes; has the potential to be very nippy and the interior will be a nice place to be. how it handles and what the feedback is like i'm unsure of. FWD doesn't always mean dull; i tried out the cooper S with a supercharger and that was great fun. must admit i prefer my RWD's and can't quiet pull myself to go back to FWD; i prefer oversteer to understeer. but the new audis do look nice, there is one down my street and its a nice piece of kit. might make a very comfortable A-B car. i'd class it as my version of a shed car. but at least its something i wouldn't mind being seen in
  18. Disagree Hondas are reliable, M3's aren't Least mine wasn't. Could have been a friday afternoon car though been on the S2k forum and i can find examples of ones that aren't same as examples on here. sterotypes aren't worth basing a car choice on. find the best example of what you like and do your damndedest to keep it on the road. i like TVR cerbera i know it woun;t be as reliable as a skoda fabia, but i know what will be more fun.
  19. Apology accepted X if your going to doing something its worth doing right
  20. welcome to the club generally quiet solid if they have been well looked after; only weak aspect is the occasional gearbox, speak to husky as it cost him a fortune when his warranty was voided and he had to pay for it himself. just look for a well cared for; well serviced and good condition car and you should end up with many happy years motoring. the buying section has a good sticky to tell you what to look out for.
