agreed husky i think its do able as well, but to do a quality job (which is the only kind i do) your looking at about 4 weekends worth of work, possibly more just with the car; then your looking at easily a weeks worth of work finishing and sanding and preping it for a surface finish. those timings all depend on how easy the trial fittings go. if the fittings are out you could easily double that timing plan.

i'll pm you when i'm ready to go ahead. normally i just cut them and then let people know they are ready. if there are a few this week i'll do another batch. dave; if you go back a few pages there are pictures of peoples fitted ones. i have enlarged the small ones slightly as some of the long names were near impossible to pick apart.

i said uneconomical its do able but it depends how long your happy to have your car out of action while you rip out and re build the centre console. this is not a weekend project.

this is a nice idea but the logistics of it will be uneconomical to do. and the likely hood of fecking your dash is high. personally if i was to do it i would be ripping the entire centre console out and building a new centre console from scratch. it would then incorporate the ipad, single din headunit and the 3 dials at the top. this does however come down to how good your fiberglassing skills are.

its engineering silicone flavour does the job well though, no frozen doors or water leaks.

well done on the purchase, check the buying guide for the usual checks but to be honest its not like you can negotiate down as the price has already been agreed. look forward to seeing more pics and good choice of car talk about an impulse buy

i had a listen to a load of these types of cars at topgear last year. and the ferrari's don't do it for me. but the lambo and spyker engines set the hairs on the back of my neck off.

nice, but sorry i'm not a fezza fan; engines to high pitch and screamy, not my bag. i do like the v8's from audi that spyker drop in to their cars, and also the lambo V10's v8's
