  1. Thanks for the advice guys. I've dropped ZMANALEX a PM.
  2. Funnily enough I'm not so sure Tough times at the moment. Really tough and it doesn't seen to be getting any better. Fingers crossed!
  3. "Sorry mate but i've just hit your car in the car park!" Front bumper spit, I doubt it's repairable and one of the headlamp washer covers has snapped in half. Can't say I'm impressed but on the bright side he's paying for the lot. I'm not going to take the **** so will be happy with a secondhand bumper which I'll get repainted. The bonus will be no more stone chips It'll also be a crime if I didn't get the annoying little scuff on the rear bumper painted at the same time I'm not on here much these days so who's the source to drop a PM to regarding decent used parts. If anyone's got any suggestions for a good paint shop in the South East I'm all ears too. Cheers guys
  4. Big thanks to the forum and everyone who helped. I now have a replacement Y-Pipe on the way for just the amount I wanted to pay! Good work guys
  5. I completely missed that on Ebay. Cheers, that could be perfect.
  6. My car is completely standard and I'd really like to keep it that way. But with renovating my flat and looking to buy a house imminently, my funds are a bit low right now. My decision will ultimately go down to cost, but saying that I don't want to buy a piece of c$%p!
  7. Hi Guys, I've recently replaced the rear two sections of my exhaust and now the Y pipe is blowing. I'm after something as close to original as possible but not having much luck finding anything. Can anyone post any suggestions please. I'd also consider a used replacement as long as it was in top shape. Cheers!
  8. I've always been a fan of them, and would have loved to own one. Unfortunately I can't see it happening now.
  9. Welcome! I was lucky with mine, buying the first one I saw. Good ones are out there so take a bit to look around. I spent over a month looking at adverts before I sae the one for mine. As soon as I did I knew it was the one. The previous owner was a enthusiast and was a really nice guy which gave me the confidence to go for the car without seeing it. Something I wouldn't recommend. But we did have an agreement that if it wasn't as described I'd get my deposit back and walk away. Luckily that didn't happen. Mines a Gunmetal 03 GT. Has one chip on the front bumper and one incredibly faint car park dint. Other that than it's perfect. So I think it's testament to there being some decent cars out there a lot newer than you're after. I was actually looking for a newer and more expensive example, but this one was to good to pass up. So I've got the car I wanted and a few extra grand in the bank. The age doesn't bother me. Good luck mate, hang in there. You know it'll be worth it!

Anyone still playing? Gone a bit quite here Just thought I'd post this pic from a few days ago. It's from the Japanese Super GT race. Awesome race!
  11. The Zed is getting close to needing a service and although I'll probably go to an independent, I do have a main dealer literally at the bottom of the road where I work. Thought I'd give them a call today to get a price for a P3 service. I was actually stuck in traffic bored, thinking 'who can I call' We've all been there. The call went something like this after asking for the service department. Nissan: "Hello, Toomey Nissan service department, **** speaking, how can I help?" Me: "Hi, can you give me a price for a P3 service for my 350z please?" Nissan: "Yes certainly, [slight pause] is that a Renault? Me (gobsmacked): "Errr, no". Independent it is then So they expect me to hand them over £390 for a service for a car they think is a Renault.
  12. Common issue with a lot of cars if they're left for a while. When the Porsche is in the garage I never put the handbrake on as it's left for weeks at a time. Usually just enough time for the battery to go flat Unfortunately it's a rented garage with no electricity so no trickle charger
