  1. i also have nismo decals if people want them added
  2. i do dipping, but i'm waiting for the temperature to increase as it makes spraying easier. i can use my local bodyshop for the painting, but that of course pushes the prices up.
  3. vredestein's or i suppose the reo50's if your set on the stones.
  4. there was an HKS copy that was done well on the forum. might be worth a punt. would avoid the K1 though, i have an original HKS on my S2k and can highly reccomend them, just ask husky
  5. i'm not going to say as its not set in stone; and i keep changing my mind, but i've been looking at V8's and thats as much as i'm saying.
  6. scratches can be sorted with a bit of nail polish, but the crack is another issue. it could be reinforced from behind with Fibre glass, but depending on the thickness depends on if it will go back on the car. personally its a fibreglass repair and a paint job, you'll loose the CF finish, but it will look good as new. could at least do the proper repair and sell it on, then buy a new CF one if the CF finish is so important.
  7. would have to agree, as the lower profile ones i run on the lighter s2k have been brilliant. i run 225.35.18 front and 255.35.18 rear
  8. with the falkens did you have the normal ones or the XL, the XL has a steel band reinforced sidewall. big difference between the 2. i can't even bend the side wall of mine with them off the wheel and no air. (thats at a 35 profile though)
  9. might be worth others posting it on car forums they also frequent else where. agreed, not sure how much affect it will actually have. but cant hurt really.
  10. so greekman what your saying is because you've done it; then its ok and we should all just follow along with it. i can't see whats wrong with actually reading the road and paying attention i've been driving 12 years and never got a ticket from a camera unit. this is not me being all rightous as like anyone else i sometimes slip a little above the limit. but its not like they don't put any signs up, they paint the cameras bright yellow. you can even have all the locations marked on your satnav. the only reason i can see a need for a jammer is if you know you drive to fast but your aware your not observant enough to see the camera's. and yes i would tell you to your face
  11. http://www.fairfueluk.com/index.html might want to have a read and sign the petition
  12. i think the idea is about as good as using a mincer for a penis enlarger
  13. Stagea? not a chance i want a car, not a wardrobe on wheels pm me and i might drop a hint
  14. i have a replacement in mind for the s2k, but i'm finances aren't as much an issue for me, but more about creating more space for others to travel in the car its still a stupid car choice so i'm happy
  15. god i hate those things, they look horrific in person.
  16. thats down to the ineptness of the drivers
  17. economy is part of it i think, but if they are selling 2 cars and swapping to one car it needs to be practical for both to use, and removing a complete car from the equation makes a huge difference a year. thats one less lot of insurance, road tax, mot and servicing. only 1 car to fill up, so if its only marginally more economical but still fun, you've already made the most of your saving by loosing the other car. its all well and good people sitting in their zeds telling others to buy a sh1t box; but they're not the ones that ahve to drive it. and live with it etc.
  18. sigh won't work and you'll end up with the fine anyway. the only systems that apparently had any affects were garage openers, and that was 5/10 years ago, if you were caught with one and had no garage they would then pull your pants down over it. there equipment has since moved on and any minor glitches like that have been closed. and any car that returns a error reading on the speedgun will see you car pulled over and dismantled so they can find what caused it. and if they find something they don't like they'll probably leave your car as a pile of nuts and bolts by the side of the road; as well as a large fine and possible court appearance for perverting the course of justice
  19. i have some spares and some vinyl knocking around, i can wrap those and post them to you on an exchange basis if you would like. these aren't stick on covers so they won;'t blow off and mean you loose a fortune at the side of the road, because they wrapped there is no visible edge, unlike the stick on ones, and its a perfect fit, because its the original part. will take off and replace the weather strips etc. pm me if you like,
  20. any dot 5.1 will be a good choice, motul stuff is good. just get the right dot.
  21. at the top when it says messages, click on it; click on compose message and type husky into the person to send it to part, then type your message.
  22. i just watched it, found it a bit of a dull match to watch, to much kicking going on, well done to scotland for trying everybody loves a tryer england could have played a tighter game, they've got some work to do before the next world cup if they plan to get very far,
  23. bmw 330 does 44mpg on a long drive and has a 0-60 of around 6 seconds, and as its the E46 its not bad looking, comfortable and rwd is fun to drive, just invest in some good winter wheels and tyres and the cold wont be an issue with a RWD. the vw golfs are pretty good and ones like the GTI get good MPG and performance, don't know if you'll stretch to a sirrocco but thats a nice car. done lots of looking recently and the germans are the only ones really who do good performance figures as well as good mpg.
  24. Does yours need a 6 foot handle to pump it up the trolly jack I have actually sank into the drives tarmac when I used it on the R8..... So I placed the jack on some wood Its cracked the wood! i didn't know you had an R8? did you swap the VXR for it?
