  1. Defo to that idea would be very interested. Rich have you got any idea on cost for these if you start covering them regularly? i can do them now, but have no rear strut to use on an exchange basis. i'll try and sort one out this week, but i can;t gaurentee when i'll get one. if you don't mind being with out one for a week, you can send it to me and i'll do it and post back.
  2. if your trying to ring the last bit of power out of everything; i wouldn't put the nismo exhaust on it or nismo y pipe or the nismo intakes, they all make minimal gains and in some cases loses. very expensive too, especially when there is better kit out their for either the same price or less.
  3. sorry neil its way to raspy for my liking
  4. mine used to say forum fairy but i got it changed back
  5. i get stopped about my S2k quiet alot ; its a nice feeling that others show an interest, but difficult sometimes when youjust want to get out of the petrol station but they wont stop talking
  6. i just get the pi$$ taken out of me post counts; count for sh1t
  7. Husky - long story cut short, when talking about the fact sarnies name had been changed husky said i don't like having a plain title and then low and behold the forum gods changed it for him sarnie - special forum status becuase he posted so much. question is why havent some of the mods gone pink now they too have crossed the 20,000 mark nurrish - not so sure about, but i think it relates to something he posted donkies ago
  8. i didn't get my own car till i was 20, but i lived in teh highest insurance bracket in the country at that time; good old CV1 anyways my first car was a 1.4 rover 214 91 reg and that was 900 smackers third party fire and theft. i have never and never will pay over that for insurance. those who agree to be shafted and pay over 1.5 k for their insurance are crazy in my mind, but fair play if they have the money to burn.
  9. make smart cars the only form of under 21 transport, can only carry one passenger so no showing of with a car full of youngsters, fit limiters and trackers. job done. but offer the cheaper residuals. one of my sixth formers has an insurance policy which fits a tracker to the car, so it knows if he speeds through areas or breaks the limits, it also limits him to 6000 a year mileage, and clcks that too. if he breaks the speed limit i think it even contacts his parents.
  10. will do, got some other bits to post up this week, its just gettign the time to finish it all.
  11. These were the ones i made a few years back with real carbon, not originals i know but give you a rough idea.
  12. I can Carbon Wrap rear strut covers for people if they would like me to. i already do B pillars on an exchange basis, and have some other new bits coming soon, happy to start doing the rear strut covers as well.
  13. ian s16 is selling a nice azure one whic is within your budget, and its also a piece of 350z club heritage.
  14. but why should i have to go slower becuas some numpty shouldn't be incontrol of a vehicle? and i don't mean going faster than 70, there is a big push at the moment to reduce the 70 in places to 50, some 30's are now 20's etc.
  15. the invention and now wide spread use of things like ABS and stability control devices have probably saved alot of lives, as its allowed more control in a skid, and reduced the chances of skidding and the safe breaking distance in which you can stop. better chassis designs and a better understanding in the science of impacts has lead to the force of an impact being channeled round a driver to keep the cabin area safe. as for camera's i'm sorry but its not like they don't advertise where they arte putting them and most good satnavs have all the hot spots marked and regualrly updated. yes accidents happen and you may go over; but if your aware of your surroundings this shouldn't be an issue.
  16. i'm guessing val also threw in the offer of a 10 hour teabagging session and a quick felching? i don't know. yes cars with mods can achieve more money but your market is extremely narrow, most buyers want a stock car, so your waiting for a long time, and thats if they agree with the price. if ian wants a quick sale he wont get it with a modded car, and not for the price he wants. if he wants to hang around then its going to possibly be a long waiting game.
  17. modifications add no value to a car, and in alot of cases actually devalue a car. you go and try and part exchange it; tell them all the mods you have etc and the most you'll get out of them is "and?"
  18. no you ruddy well did not!! we were pi**ed and watched all the youtube vids available for 350z exhausts, a wild night that one! and i said, have a look at tannabe they do some good kit,. and then you said how great they sounded etc etc etc etc , at the end of the day i introduced you to tannabe and thats the truth
  19. i introduced husky to them ages ago and they are a really good piece of kit, if i had a zed, i'd be contemplating putting it on.
  20. teaching? saying that the teaching job market is dead at the moment and there is a whole wave of trainees this year with no jobs to go too. we're also facing redundency's as well.
  21. its a big GT cruiser its what the zed was designed for, eating up the miles travelling long distances.
  22. should have left a 370-uk.net one on there good effort though
  23. as long as the work was done well then i wouldn't worry
  24. try and get a couple of quotes from several places to give you a good price guide, or use one reccomended.
