  1. i'll see what i can do
  2. plastx is a polish so should do the job fine, G5 rubbing compound is just very very very fine particles,
  3. dude... not the time or place for this one
  4. wet and dry will dull it, but polish will bring it back to gloss. i'd possibly finish the job with some rubbing compound for an even finer finish
  5. i don't know if this is of interest but i was considering a franchise with these people http://www.colour-wizard.com/ the only thing that put me off was the initial investment; as i had a safe job i didn't have the balls to take the risk, but there si some good money to be made in it; if you do your research. i chose them over all the others as they offered both paint fixing and alloy wheel repair, if you do good work in one, people re book you for the other etc. instead of finding alternatives. spoke to the MD and he was very down to earth and not pushy, if i was being made redundent i'd definetly be going for a second look at it. theu also do machine polishing etc, and he trains each new person himself as its his business reputation on the line, all the info is on their website, hope it helps
  6. that'll buff right out with a bit of scratch x and some elbow grease thats round the corner from my parents as well
  7. green motoring sounds good, means i can still have a V8 also means we aren't then reliant on the middle east for fuel; double bonus
  8. I can do you a wrapped set on an exchange basis, i currently do them in carbon style, but i can get most colours
  9. no worries i got your PM and will sort out ASAP
  10. i like th eold jags as well, tell me what you think after your testdrive, also anyone with any exprience, are they much trouble to keep?
  11. i'm in the process of creating new velocity stacks, i have an air box, so can do them on an exchange basis once i have the parts in.
  12. a body shop would do that for you for about 60 quid, all the ground work has been done, it just needs masking up (leaving the middle bit covered to keep it black) a quick rub down to prep the surface for adhesion, and then spray and clear coat. if you try and wrap it you won't get a match with the silver of the vinyl to the silver of the car, and make it look terrible. this is a paint matched spray job only.
  13. nope, i loved my last job and was sad to leave, only moved due to relocating
  14. i regret blacking out my rays 18", if i did it again i would go for a shadow chrome or gunmetal. still dark, but not black. as for mine it was all silver body kitted and never looked like the enterprise. and the nismo v2 was all one front bumper, just the lower part was carbon
  15. the pic i put up are all silver and gives you a full range, nismo v1 nismo v2 greddy stock v1 spoilers v2 spoiler
  16. Right the honest part... that rear diffuser will make it look like apollo 13; but thats my personal opinion i've never liked it 2nd; were you planning on putting the greddy lip on top of the nismo front bumper? personally i'd keep it to just the nismo stuff. that front bumper, sides and rear spats look nice. also the nismo front is different in the corners so the greddy lip wont fit on top i don't think. if your going for the greddy lip then silver, with a black centre would work well. or a carbon centre, or a carbon wrapped centre. to give you an idea of silver cars here is mine and some of the other boys. mines on the left, and tarmacs has the greddy on 2nd from right
  17. good effort on the paint and repair, but it looks like it did when it came out the box, i repaired one of these a couple of years ago, and they are really nice lips, but it nbeeds to be body coloured to work.
  18. husky i've decided to euro style your zed; we're going to gaffa tape over all the body joins, no one will know its not smoothed in as for smoothing in the joins, sounds great, but as soon as you need to take the front bumper off to fix the headlights aren't you somewhat stuff up the arse as you won;t be able to remove them. or you'll need your bumper re doing? the zed is one of those cars you can end up taking the front off a lot. also what happens when cracks start to appear as the british roads are crap and the vibrations will eventually seperate the joins?
