  1. i filled up on the A64 at £1.50 a litre, i had stopped 20 miles back but refused to pay what i thoguht was high at £1.45 per litre, but buy the time i got to the 1.50 garage i was on vapours. i was not impressed to say the least, must admit i find where i am quiet cheap in comparsion i think its about 1.40 per litre, (those were all prices for 99 ron)
  2. you'll never keep him quiet that long

    My New Car

but its just a saloon car shape, although a very capable one. same reason evo's and scoobies don't excite me. i appreciate their ability, and would have one as a track toy or rally toy, but not something to make the ladies go weak at the knees.

    My New Car

the car may not be able to arouse all the ladies, but when ians at the car shows i'm sure there'll be lots of blokes pitching tent instead if cars were people the maserati would be a club owner and the r34 would be the doorman not the best looking thing out there, but you wouldn't mess with it
  7. so is that an old mid pipe with a straight bit welded in? good job really looks a tidy piece of work what did you clean the old pipe up with to get it back to steel?

    My New Car

looking good ian must admit i like the seats as they are, but if you have brides waiting to go then swap away.
  11. i think chrome place is just head office
  12. car looks good, is the girl at the top in red actually a man?
  13. - £7500 asking price - 69500 miles - Full service History - 12 months MOT - 6 months tax - 12 months till next service (or 9500 miles) - 2 new tyres on the rear (fitted this week) - 5 mm tread left on the front - Body work has just been machine polished, so paint work is now like glass. - Matching berlina Black Hard top - OEM Honda Lip spoiler - 2 keys and 3 key fobs all with fresh batteries - Full geometry check and setup in November and all bushes were good, - Tons of receipts for all work etc It took me 6 months to find this car and I've had her for a year now and loved every minute of ownership. And she's never let me down, runs beautifully. But I need a car with 4 seats and a bigger boot for my new business and possible new addition to the family. The car comes with all the usual Honda equipment, ABS, electric windows, Air CON, Electric mirrors etc. but the car also has the additional hardtop so you can run the car as a convertible in the summer and a hardtop in the winter. The soft top is in good condition, and has been well cared for. I have more pictures if people would like me to email them, and happy to discuss any questions either via email or on the phone.
  14. Don't come here with half a story. These by any chance ? http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... 65745#dtab i dont own a caravan if thats what your getting it
  15. meeting health and safety guidlines in the EU, stops children decapitating themselves
  16. to be honest i've never heard anyone refer to it as 287 bhp for the early cars, i think thats just wishful thinking, most of them aren't even 276bhp as a lot have foudn when they went and dyno'd their car, some had lots of mods and still weren't close.
  17. did it play the knight rider theme tune and call you michael as well?
  18. its the difference between PS and BHP its the same reason some people say say the latest version is a 313 bhp its not its 309 bhp, and 313 ps
  19. rover 214 Si was still at university so a £300 car was all i could afford i did then add the rover tomcat front and rear bumper spoiler and wheels, a K&N filter, and hi flow cat. and it was a little beast, had great fun in it. on long drives it was like a B52 bomber on a bombing run to dresden. but i loved it. even repaired the head gasket when it blew on the old k series engine. it was also my first car. sadly no pictures of it done up on the computer, and i sold it for the same price paid for it 2 years before
  20. all FI zeds are retro fitted systems so someones done the work at someopoint down the line. imho i'd rather do the work myself or use my own garage because at least i then know what and how its been done. personally if your having to spend etc to add power to the zed i'd look at buying a car that has the power already. either a zed already FI'd or a faster car from a different manufacturer.
  21. non of the ones above look close, i'm contemplating one for my 30th this year, but i want one that will go on my current and all future cars, i cant see th epoint of a plate for 1 car, especially as i tend to swap every 12-18 months. so i'm going for my initials if i do it.
  22. to retro fit FI the cost vary alot dpending on if you buy new kit or 2nd hand and if you fit it or pay for fitting etc. supercharger your looking at between 4.5k to 7.5k for the kit + fitting (i may be a little out, someone like ian could give you more accurate figures as he has run a very nice HKS setup) turbo your looking at between 7k and 15k for a decent twin turbo setup, prices might be less and that i think includes some of the fitting etc, but someone like zmanalex would be able to give you more real world figures as he has run a couple of TT setups.)
  23. Is the standard ECU even remapable? You would need a stand alone like Emanagement or an F-con for custom maps......Maybe...But what would i know, Im only a girl stock ECU can be remapped as said by wasso those 3 are the only places that will do it, and it tends to get better results than people running things like greddy emange, UTEC etc. in some cases running a standalone removes some of the cars functions like the central locking and alarm etc. uprev remap keeps the car on spec but allows a lot of play. can even ahve FI setup on the stock ECU.
