  1. non of the ones above look close, i'm contemplating one for my 30th this year, but i want one that will go on my current and all future cars, i cant see th epoint of a plate for 1 car, especially as i tend to swap every 12-18 months. so i'm going for my initials if i do it.
  2. to retro fit FI the cost vary alot dpending on if you buy new kit or 2nd hand and if you fit it or pay for fitting etc. supercharger your looking at between 4.5k to 7.5k for the kit + fitting (i may be a little out, someone like ian could give you more accurate figures as he has run a very nice HKS setup) turbo your looking at between 7k and 15k for a decent twin turbo setup, prices might be less and that i think includes some of the fitting etc, but someone like zmanalex would be able to give you more real world figures as he has run a couple of TT setups.)
  3. Is the standard ECU even remapable? You would need a stand alone like Emanagement or an F-con for custom maps......Maybe...But what would i know, Im only a girl stock ECU can be remapped as said by wasso those 3 are the only places that will do it, and it tends to get better results than people running things like greddy emange, UTEC etc. in some cases running a standalone removes some of the cars functions like the central locking and alarm etc. uprev remap keeps the car on spec but allows a lot of play. can even ahve FI setup on the stock ECU.
  4. when i say 18, thats my mental age physically i'm actually 29
  5. i'm 18 welcome anyways though
  6. i have 2 plastic ramps i drive up and then put the trolley jack under. got them from halfrauds in the caravan section.
  7. i smell BS
  8. if you stay NA, you can spend alot of money for very little gain. if you go FI there options are better and the gains considerable.
  9. i like the fact that they didn't forget the hispanics at the end, oh and everybody. is it that bad in the southern states that this actually has to be spelled out?
  10. brakes direct i or something like that do fairly cheap OEM parts
  11. at most its about 10 or 15 quid if your insurer doesnt cover it for free, and chips and cracks are usually repairable as long as its size is smaller than a 20p piece.
  12. Ah...I had the impression it was an important component of the B-pillars. I would have not gone through the hassle of fitting them if I knew before at most it makes the water bead from b pillar on to the glass and keeping it away from the glass seal (edge of the glass)
  13. yes
  14. 2 different methods of measureing car power outputs, and people confuse the 2 and refer to both as BHP when they are actualy different
  15. i love those kind of builds
  16. true dual
  17. i'll have a look at the do luck ones not seen them before
  18. scotty i like the use of the alternate weave looks the best i've seen in a long time. i can supply people with vinyl if they want it. got a whole range of finishes not just black carbon. some special colours i can get are: Flip colours (changes colour depending on the light; think TVR paint) white carbon gold carbon silver carbon red carbon blue carbon crocodile skin sequins and stock colours like on the roof wrap page i set up.
  19. thats coming on well, you'll be the only one who notices the corner as you did the work, others won't, but worst case scenario you could always re wrap it. as for the switches if you use a fine scalpel you can trim round the switch areas and hand grip for a neater finish. the dash isn't to bad, but the key is the prep work, it needs to be clean and wiped down with something like lighter fluid to de grease and remove any contaminantes from cleaning products etc.
  20. tannabe gold hyper medallion think that the right spelling and words, but very good bit of kit and sounds great, and not a ball breaker on the bank.
  21. personally i think the nismo exhaust is just a modified stock exhaust with branding on; and then people pay through the nose for it. quality isn't always the best either. the flexijoints break. and the noise is just a slightly deeper stock tone. lots of really good kit out there for less money and a far better sound, IMHO but if you want to be a nismo ho; you'll need the exhaust as well
  22. at most the tracking might have changed slightly
  23. oh dear thats my free time shot to pieces
  24. why?
