  1. Could be starter motor, but if replacing battery get a Bosch with 5 year guarantee
  2. Looking at buying a replacement supercharger, found one but need someone to check it out before I buy it to make sure its good and no issues. I just need some one to get eyes on it to see if the impellors are in good nick, if there is any visible scoring and if there is any play in the bearings.
  3. if you are getting a sensation that feels like a missfire but no fault code i would suggest looking to see if you have a vacuum leak somewhere. if you have an air leak after the MAF or on a Vacuum hose it can give a lumpy idle and not throw an error code.
  4. makes me miss my black 02 S2000, one of the best cars i've owned. best has been the XKR but for completely different reasons. the S2K was the best drivers car i've had, and i reckon i'll go back at some point and have another. I've got all my detailing stuff at mine if you fancy a visit, i used it all on mine to correct the black paint. got DA polisher and everything.
  5. If you want a plate, get your initials, don't bother spelling words its ghey
  6. Was that the 917 that Piper took my mate Mark Hales to Court for damage to the gearbox, Cost Mark £120k ..!! you bend it, you mend it; I think is the common phrase
  7. Love tvr, nearly bought a speed 6 instead of the xkr
  8. You sure she didn't confuse it with the super mini parking. You'll turn up and find you're directed left with the micro's and aygo's
  9. Never done it, how do they know they can call on you? Would love to do it once.
  10. funny as mongoose amounst many others who make them have comments like this http://mongooseexhausts.com/store/shop/nissan-350z-decats/
  11. sums up old school jaguar ownership nicely
  12. i used it on my stainless grille still looks good after 8 months and a winter.
  13. Why not just buy an additional 1 litre bottle to go with your 4 litre My garage give me back my oil container with the spare oil in it for top ups. Could be worse you could need 8 litres like me for an oil change, hence why 4 litres are perfectly sensible as I just buy 2.
  14. nope you've not treated me to a pox ride. But we saw one when your car was broke and I took you to the sorting office. Only had a little V6 in it and not a proper V8 but still sounded good.
  15. have seen one up close and listened to it. i think that what the F type has about it is an element of theatre, its not the fastest, its not the best at cornering its not a track monster, its not the best cruiser, etc etc etc, but what ever you do with it; it has that element of theatre and smile factor. it blips the throttle when you turn it on it popples and back fires on over run, its a car you want to be in and play with, even just going to the shops looks fun in it.
  16. i had longlife build me 2 racing cats for my jaguar for £400 with 200 cell filters. they would have been £600 but i got a discount with it all being part of a complete exhaust build. you're better off buying a pre made off the shelf from someone like tarmac sports for something like £150 i think they cost.
  17. Hows the Jaguar XKR compare to the F-TYPE soft top V6-S and V8 models in performance! different cars, ones a 4 seat cruiser the other a 2 seat sports car. Having never driven an f type I can't comment on comparisons.
  18. x100 has better lines, x150 better chassis and drive train
  19. my wife has one, very good car,
