  1. a tendon saw - wow - really going for that deep cut ...................I always thought they were tenon saws bloody auto correct on my tablet

  4. I'm over near Ipswich and my mechanic at Team AFM I think charge around £30 an hour. Sadly not that close for you.
  5. I cut more of my finger off with a tendon saw, all I did was push it back on, wrap kitchen towel round it the strap it up with electrical tape. And the got back on with the job. When I took it off the next day it had knitted back together.

  8. had an FN2 years ago, always had a soft spot for the EP3, i like the fact i looks like amini estate, and easy to drop all the seats and turn it in to one.

  10. its a rewarding car to drive if its driven properly. its not about the top speed its about the overall package, but yes its not what alot of people expect, and you cant just bolt a filter on it for instant gains. infact getting anything out of it extra costs a fortune so you might as well go straight to FI
  11. as long as they are beneficial to the forum and not blantant post whoring then they'll be fine. mods like to toy with members that take the mick and delete their posts or freeze their account
  12. out of interest my other choices at the moment have been ep3 type R merc clk diesel 2.7 or 3 litre old audi S3 or S4 Audi A8 3 l V6 Diesel possibly bmw 3 or 5 series early 200o's reg either a 330ci or 530, been put off by reliability of the diesels and after 10 years most bmws seems to gain lots of expensive repairs.
  13. i have been toying with the rx8 as the possible jag replacement as it had back seats and back doors and a decent ish boot. only put off at the moment is the mpg and the apparent reliability. but the price is hard to ignore.

  15. Not come across them before, but prices seem a good £10 a tyre cheaper than funky quoted me. And they also seem to have stock of 452s still, so I think I may well be going to these guys. Just need to ring round my local places first.

  21. Not bothered about the £1.60 or the £10 was just dubious about the whole thing.
