a very easy and cheap mod is to lighten the car before you go on track. some strip things like the spare wheel and some trim. others are more extreme and remove anything non essential. zeds biggest issue as a track car is she is a fat girl. she's a great GT car, but a fat track car.

any place with 4 wheel laser alignment can reset your car back to original settings. worth riging round some body shops as they sometimes use them to reset cars after accidents. search yell.com in your area for 4 wheel laser wheel alignment should produce some results.

You could spend £3k on stuff to make it go faster and then remap it and make 20bhp if you're lucky, or spend £1.5k more and SC the car. But as ekona has pointed out, the mods you really need to do are not power but handling.

I went Xbox as it integrates with my phone, tablet and pc, which are all Microsoft. Love my Xbox, don't feel I missed out with the ps4.

same here, been waiting for them to come down in price a bit. My car isn't fast but having been at the front of a 6 car pile up, even though I was faultless it still took nearly a year to settle. The video footage would have speeded the whole process up hugely

I've just bought an XC90, Mainly for the boot space and ease of access for putting 2 babies in when on your own. But the sameness of the vehicle for the kid is an added bonus. Downside is pedestrians are screwed with only 1 star in NCAP for pedestrians tests.

4 stars isn't that bad, I'd get in it. Considering my mum had 1 metro, which is what the rover 100 was and a rover 100 which I wrote off at 18 and that got 1 star, and I drove it like a Nutter and I'm still walking. 4 or 5 star is adequate for me.

Edit: Just to clarify that's a pretty expensive gear knob. Very nice though. back in the day there were very few cheap parts, if you nodded you only bought post brands as they were the only ones around.
