Yes you do, having been though some hoops with transferring from a UK to a Canadian licence, You can be fined up to 5K as its illegal to have what is seen as copies of licences, out of date or not

Nout wrong with a high milage, as long as its been maintained. There are a good few Zed's on here with 100K+

Drive down to the south of france, then up round through Switzerland and home again. Some stunning roads .... and shopping for the Mrs. A win win situation
