  1. Hi and welcome to the forum. Relatively new here myself as I only bought my Z in February - before that I'd never heard of a Nismo! As Martin (Payco) says, hope to see you at a local meet - I'm up the road a bit near Gatwick.
  2. @Lewis Schwier What a great write up - I think if I had the V1 wheels and spoiler, my V2 would be 100% perfect!
  3. My V2 Nismo has that gunky layer on the engine bay paintwork - I thought it was just mine, but maybe something done in production?
  4. Great review and very interesting reading. Thanks for taking the time to do it. As a fairly new Nismo owner I can relate to all of it.
  5. Interesting thread, thanks for taking the time to post it all. Great looking rims, spot on there.
  6. Welcome along, looks great with the red over black wheels. Are the wheels the standard V2 alloys, but painted black? Can't quite make that out from the angle of the photos, although they very much look like they are.
  7. Gunmetal body over black rims - perfect combination.
  8. Interesting - Despite what's written above, when I spoke to T/S about HFCs a while back I was told that they would need to be hot prior to the MOT emissions test. Mine are currently standard, but having researched the subject and the numerous brand options, plus receiving professional advice from my Indie, I'm going down the Cobra route.
  9. Does this potentially affect 370Zs of all ages?
  10. Thanks Alex, worth a punt I think. Just ordered some from Slim's Detailing.
  11. I usually use a minimal amount of white spirit, followed by a thorough wash after I've got the stuff off. However, that's been for 'regular' alloys, not diamond cut lacquered ones. All four of my Rays on my Nismo has this cack, so what's the best and safest thing to use? Cheers!
  12. Good news, post a few photos when you're ready.
  13. Maybe Fido would enjoy seeing all the Zeds?! 🐶
  14. Welcome along, great looking Z. The meeting at the Ace was, well, Ace! Get along next year...
  15. Is this the position on the inner sills, front and rear, that each have two "V" cut outs? Thanks.
  16. Welcome along, pleased to hear you're sorted.
  17. Firstly, a big thanks to Martin for organising this meet - I know from experience that car club stuff (organising events, writing articles for the monthly mag etc) can be a time consuming and sometimes thankless task. I really enjoyed seeing so many Zs together in one place - since taking delivery of my Nismo back in February I'd only seen one other Z on the road before yesterday. A friendly bunch too, had a few good chats! I certainly hope to be able to attend other meets as and when they are arranged. The trip up from Gatwick was a massive pain, so for the way back we cut down to Kew Bridge and out to the M3/M25 that way - nowhere near as bad as the way up via M25/M40/A40. Back home, the trip computer showed that it had taken nearly three and a half hours to do 101 miles 😒. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see the average MPG was 29, compared to my usual 20 when pottering around locally. Anyway, a few of my photos from yesterday.
  18. Welcome along, saw your Z at Ace yesterday. Stunning looking car and loved the colour - truly unique! One of my photos from yesterday. Sorry, you must have loads similar!

  20. Welcome along. Must say those wheels really do suit the car.
  21. Subject to any known issues on the morning, is the intended route going to be M25/M40/A40?
  22. I was actually not going to leave home near Gatwick until 11:00, getting to the Ace around 12:30 ish. However, I'm certainly up for a group convoy so will endeavour to be at Cobham by 10:00. If not, see you there. Just note, I'm not very familiar with Cobham Services but will try to find you going by the location description from Martin.
