  1. I understand that there is not a bonnet open/unlatched warning on our Zs.
  2. Welcome along, that looks like a good example.
  3. Brave man, I'm very impressed that you went through with it. We popped into Apex last year, as we do during most visits to Nurburg. Misha and the crew are always good to chat to and very welcoming.
  4. Too right Dave! Where do you attach your front plate, if or when you do!
  5. I've been using Auto Finesse Aqua Coat for the last couple of years. I tend to spray it on to the rinsed and still wet panels every fourth wash. I'm sure there's better, but seems to give good results. I might try the AG one for a change next time.
  6. So did I, the guy over in the States! He was my other source of info.
  7. I remember researching the V2 Nismo after seeing one on A/T in December 2020, the one I ended up buying nearly two months later - I knew the Z cars but never heard of 'Nismo' to be honest. Basically I went ahead after getting some real world owner's advice and opinion from this forum, plus Mark at Abbey M/S, who conveniently are only 10 miles from me.
  8. Looking back, I first posted my response to this thread back in June 2021. It's still a good read and confirms again what a great vehicle it is, plus how glad I am that I decided to take a bit of a leap into the unknown three years ago (today).
  9. Later ones actually shouldn't suffer the clutch slave issues, plus I'd add neither the steering lock mechanism failure either. I've owned my 2017 Nismo for three years today and have covered approximately 9000 miles in that period, with no issues at all. Current total mileage is now 25,500. I'd say go for it.
  10. I might be in Oxford that weekend, what's the postcode for the museum?
  11. Yeah, road tax around the £600 mark - totally nuts but it's all about persuading people to drive newer vehicles, where most cars sit at £180, the same as my Z which is in the 2017 sweet spot.
  12. An old 350Z will be just like any other ageing vehicle - paying a low price for the car itself, but having to accept that it will cost money to keep it on the road. If you do go for one, at least you'll have something different to the mainstream if that matters to you.
  13. Strategically parked by large puddle for arty reflective shot - excellent photo as usual Davey, stunning.
  14. Welcome along, hope you enjoy your new purchase. Make use of the various forum sub topics and feel free to ask any questions. There are a lot of experienced owners here.
  15. Hey Lewis, I absolutely love what you've created there. A brilliant thread! One question, what brand and model number are your walkie talkies and would you recommend them? The pair I've used on road trips abroad since 2012 have packed up, they weren't the best but did work. I need to get a new pair for our upcoming trip to Essen in April for Techno Classica. Thanks.
  16. Do you have any idea yet if this event will be happening this year? Cheers Davey...
  17. Not a Z, but worthy of a photo here. Spotted in the duty free shop at Gatwick Airport earlier. 🤣
  18. Talking of snow, this week we're in Berlin and spotted this 350 convertible in the Potsdamer Platz area.
