  1. I had a remap done by Rabbid (Richard) on my Stage 2 Corsa VXR with upgraded injectors. Very well respected amongst the VXR community and a top guy, he did real time data capture after remapping whilst in the passenger seat to ensure map is correct. I also previously owned a VXR8 so have been a fan of Vauxhall. After 3.5 years ownership of the Rabbid remapped 2013 Corsa I did trade it in for the 370Z. Last time I met him at a Hampshire meet he was driving a Nissan GTR no doubt funded by his remaps success. He and WG Motorworks are the go to for remaps and engine work in the VXR community.
  2. How low are you willing to go (including postage) please PM, Funds available but thinking £1500 + postage is far too high.
  3. I often look out of the window just to check if the car is still on the drive where I left it.
  4. Call me old fashioned but a burger van and the two cars would not have been a gathering. Perhaps a bit more interest, proper venue (pub + food) & work rota permitting I will be there. EDIT: Its not that I advocate Drinking & Driving its just I am more up for pub food than a burger/kebab van, must be my advanced age.

    Tyre Sensors

I had hoped someone more knowledgeable than me would have replied by now. AFAIK the OEM TPMS sensors affix to the valves so it could be that your new valves are not compatible. It is my belief that if you have the valves and TPMS sensors refitted from your old wheels to your new ones you will be fine as the sensors are currently programmed to your car. I am sure a decent tyre/wheel shop could advise further.
  6. Why would a main Nissan dealer fit Yokohamas all round to a new 370Z 2017 base model instead of the factory supplied tyres? My limited understanding of tyres makes me believe that profile is affected by width therefore in this instance as the front tyre is less wide than the rear it would seem correct that the profile is slightly more (45 rear/50 front). EDIT: I have just copied this from the Nissan UK website for the 2019 370Z Base model: EXTERIOR • 18” Alloy wheels • 225/50 R18 front tyres • 245/45 R18 rear tyres • Dual exhaust pipes with stainless steel finishers • Flashing Z emblem integrated into side indictator • Glass moulded antenna • Body coloured rear spoiler So if anyone did pinch my OEM tyres when I wasn't looking at least they fitted the correct size replacements.
  7. I checked the sizes earlier whilst it was still daylight. They are the original tyres. REAR 245 45 R18 96W FRONT 225 50 R18 95W Would 225 45 18 make any difference?
  8. I have 18" wheels and the current Yokohama front tyre size is 225 50 R18 95W. Yokohama do not seem to do this size in Advan Neova AD08r Is there an acceptable size I could use without problems?
  9. Personally, I would go the ZMANALEX route with Tein 17/14mm springs.
  10. My first question would be how low did you choose to go? AFAIK lowering springs are offered in different sizes resulting in differing amounts of "Lowering". I learnt my lesson in my previous car, had to traverse speed humps in a certain way but despite that on occasions joining roads with aggressive camber would catch me out ie. leaving a nearby petrol station springs to mind. Decent coilovers seems to me an expensive fix, could you get less aggresssive lowering springs?
  11. Why does any 350 owner need £183 worth replacement of stepped bolts which look they could last a lifetime?
  12. I am free this weekend coming as have been on holiday from work but back to the grind Monday night. I lived in Bracknell for several years and didn't even know they had a football ground.
  13. Last week I had my 2nd annual service (FOC) done at my Nissan main dealer whom I purchased the car from. They never mentioned changing the brake fluid but phoned me whilst the car was there to see if I wanted the air con recharged as apparently its a 2 year thing. I politely declined as the car has only done circa 6300 miles.
  14. Why not, I am in Farnborough but do shiftwork.
  15. After years of paying extra for Morrisons Super Plus (As it the nearest petrol station) I have reverted to bog standard unleaded plus Redex partly because of this thread.
  16. Yes, many thanks Andy. Despite the rain I actually enjoyed the drive and it was great to meet you all. I am already looking forward to the next one (work rota permitting). So hopefully see you all again soon.
  17. I originally planned to purchase an M3 Z4 Coupe but they command a high price considering their age. In the end I decided a newer 370Z Coupe represented better value. I have now owned the car for 18 months and currently have no intention of changing the car.
