  1. Although its a bit long in the tooth now and no Dolby Atmos my biggest difference in quality was spending £1500 on a discounted £2500 Yamaha DSP-Z7 AV Receiver paired with my existing 4 floorstanding Tannoys, a Tannoy subwoofer plus a Tannoy centre speaker. Its a monster of an AV Receiver with impressive true output wattage. I still use them now and lack the motivation to upgrade to Atmos. TBH I am enjoying Dolby HD sound on Blu-Rays and haven't even upgraded to 4k TV yet. I must be getting old......
  2. You never see a poor bookmaker and I am sure you will never see a poor insurer.
  3. I naively considered an older second car a while ago for trips to the dump etc. I wrongly assumed my insurance company wouldn't want much if any extra for a second older car as it meant I wouldn't be driving my Z at the same time. Essentially I was hoping to add a second car to my existing policy. How wrong I was, new policy needed and at almost the same price as the Z for an 11 year old Micra.
  4. A poor seal or no seal on the overflow tank would cause the coolant to boil at a lower temperature. Hopefully a new cap will sort out your issue.
  5. You have relieved me immensely with your reply. I really thought I had had hacked you off with my suggestion you go thinner. The problem for me was using the supplied crimps with the very thin OEM loom Yaw control wires. Hence my desire to go soldered. Look forward to seeing you at Japfest.
  6. Just wanted to post an update as I left a PM for cs2000 a few days ago and never received a reply. It turns out he has left the conversation so no chance of a reply. My PM requested a replacement momentary switch (at my cost and when available) because I cross threaded it inadvertantly which involved using pliers on the switch body, also a suggestion that he used thinner gauge wire so I could solder and shrinkwrap as I had trouble crimping his supplied crimps to my very thin 370Z Yaw control wires. I will be at Silverstone next weekend so if you have a spare switch see you there.
  7. When I ask do they fit, I mean do they rub and is the speedo still accurate with the standard profile of the 20" tyre? . Personally I prefer the "dark" colour of the 20" GTR wheel compared to the 19" Nismo 370Z diamond cut wheel. In fact I prefer my 18" base dark wheel to the Nismo wheel.
  8. Do standard GTR 20" wheels fit a 370Z?
  9. As long as I can fully open my door I will be happy. After all I will need to be able to get out.
  10. 370Z's were not made in 2003, are you in the wrong part of the Forum?
  11. Having downloaded my entry pass again the Terms & Conditions state that you must have the card you paid for the entry pass with you so in all honesty you are better off buying your own entry ticket which are still available rather than attempting to use someone elses. This really mirrors what Andy stated the entry pass and club pass are all traceable to the original purchaser Bank Card & Car Registration, so not worth the hassle.
  12. It might be feasible to purchase an entry ticket from someone who is no longer attending but the FREE Club Vehicle Pass is non transferable as it has the registration number of the original purchasers car on it. So yes, the Club Vehicle space is just lost. TBH the thread has been open for bookings from October 2018.
  13. I was thinking about spacers myself but if 15mm spacers cause rubbing I think I will pass.
  14. I have a 2017 370Z and I use ONE OF THESE . Have you tried putting your music on a USB memory stick to see if it works OK? I am assuming this is feasible on a 2010 Head Unit?? My Iphone X often gives me issues accessing photos when I connect it to my PC by USB.
  15. No 2 sounds like a door or the trunk is not shut properly. I get a warning beeping sound if I try to lock the car if I haven't shut something properly. Sorry can't help with No 1.
  16. As I mentioned earlier what I called TCS Nissan 2017 call VDC so I am going to suggest my module is working and leave it at that. As I did not remove my gear knob I had to unbolt my yaw sensor to unplug the plug so it would be a major job to unplug the sensor just to see what happens. I find it strange that what I would traditionally call the "TCS OFF Button" they call it the "VDC OFF" button.
  17. I am doing 14 hour nightshifts until Sunday so I won't be able to do any fault finding until Monday. When I arrived home this morning I pulled the cupholder to check the wiring configuration: The yellow wire is connected to cut black wire (pin1) loom side The blue wire is connected to cut black wire (Pin1) yaw sensor side The Red wire is spliced to green wire (Pin 4) The VDC warning symbol (See Below) light extinguishes normally (After a few seconds) if I disable the module and restart the engine. If I enable the module the VDC warning symbol (See Below) illuminates permanently after restart. I have just looked at the 2017 Owners manual what I call TCS they call VDC. So when I turn the "Skiddy car Off" using the button by my knee the "VDC Off" warning light illuminates. If I turn the module On and restart the car then another VDC warning light illuminates. There are no other warning lights associated with TCS/VDC so perhaps I do only have one warning light illuminated when using the module. I will provide a link OWNERS MANUALS (2017 370Z Coupe) if anyone wants to check warning lights page 0-14 to confirm this.
  18. I am afraid I only have the one light illuminated when the module is active (TCS) I have double cheacked the wiring but all seems as per instructions (Pins 1 & 4 of Yaw sensor) Look forward to hearing from you after you have double checked.
  19. 50th Anniversary Edition Not for me.
  20. I have messaged Chris but I have now realised he does not own a 370Z. Can anyone who has fitted the module to a 370Z please confirm how many lights are illuminated on the Rev counter when the module has been activated. I am only getting the TCS light illuminated but on the 350Z video there are two symbols illuminated. TIA.
  21. I don't know what they quoted for parts and labour but would you be willing to fit it yourself? You would need two shear bolts and a steering lock. There is currently a new steering lock on Ebay for £350
  22. `There must be something wrong with my car I generally see around 22MPG but I do mostly "Urban" driving. On the motorway its amazing the way that the "miles before empty" increases dramatically.
