A friend posted about this a few days ago, and there was a comment from another that caught my attention. Ill post it here and see what others say, but I strenuously state it is NOT my opinion. " Dangers of car modification? "Exagerated by the removal of the catalyst" Many many things wrong with this report. First. A mechanic, even a gash one could tell when the manifold gasket is blowing. The catalyst removes fumes from the exhaust AFTER the engine. Downstream of the exhaust. So makes ZERO difference weather fitted or not. Heres whats happened from an engineering and experienced background. The lad has been showing off to his girlfriend. Getting his car to pop flames by hitting the limiter. This is done by cutting the ignition. It increases dramatically the heat and pressure inside the cylinders and consequently the exhaust. This heat and pressure has blown a hole in the manifold gasket. He has then driven home and sat outside with his girlfriend with the engine running as it was cold. One of the side effects of carbon monoxide poisoning is sickness dizzyness and vomiting... so thats the puke accounted for. This is a tragic accident. But not the fault of modifying cars but driving like a **** and bouncing it off the limiter without knowing the results. To be 1000x over the safe limit they must have been sat there for hour after hour smelling gasses. I feel for their families. But dont blame modified cars. There are millions of modified cars on the roads that DONT kill people."

Possible your water pump mightve died, have seen it before. Odd that when fully unscrewed you wernt getting much flow

SO updates! Unfortunately still not been able to track down a body shop to get all of the juicy bits fitted which really is starting to grate, but less of that. Ive been hoarding parts as per, and these have included EPRacing 20mm spacers, Z centre caps and aluminium vents. And time for pictures ! Starting with the vents and then for the spacers! Im honestly in love with these, they have made such a huge difference So was nice to have some sunshine today, perfect after a nightshift! Maybe next time I'll have something better to show! -
Saying this, id probably buy a tank. You can pick up soviet era armor, T54s and T55s etc for around 50K. Having driven one I can safely say its the best fun ive had in a long time!

Shelby GT500, because who wouldnt, and a 64 impala. I have a very soft spot for older American cars. Although if Mr Honda would agree id love a 2017 plate integra DC2. You cant beat nippy N/a on a twisty B road

I chew my nails (job doesnt help) so breaking an nail isnt an option haha. Never had to use two hands to get it undone LOL

Mines exactly like this, pretty sure even chuck norris would struggle to get the thing undone. Nice to know im not the only one who looks weak taking the cap off haha

Those kits are great but unless you seal them after, they'll eventually go naff again.

Bodyshop. Then clear coated. Easy to do and shouldnt cost the earth, mine cost 50 quid. Check build thread for pictures!

Thats whats made it so weird, I've had it since early access and never had these issues before, and Ive played alot. Im level 84, all classes doen etc but last night was just stress inducing Im sure they'll patch it or stabilise there servers, but the other guys I was playing with were fine. Eugh!

Im interested but problem is that the facelift bumper wont work with my preface arch liners. Can anyone confirm if everything else fits like washer jets etc?

A friend was pretty much saying this yesterday after playing on Wednesday night. He found that people were jumping between teams mid game to maximise points which apparently you can do providing there is a free slot on the opposing side. I didn't realise you could do this but I didn't witness lag or this last night. This is all on Xbox one, what platform are you on? Oh it was awful dude. Never had connection issues like that before. Wouldnt put me into games with my squad, kept switching teams between us and the best bit was it would you into a premium que where you get priority over others. Well good one because we're all premium players! Im on PS4 and had to switch it off in the end, thoroughly disappointed.

Got thoroughly pi**ed off with BF1 tonight. Never suffered connection issues but tonight had the lot. Steady 9ms ping with 60MBPS DL and I couldn't even run across the maps. The little I got to play of the new game mode didnt seem that impressive, got absolutely steam rolled and it was only 16 people aside?

As the title guys, im looking for a front bumper for my Z, ideally with a front lip too but not a major requirement. Would be perfect of it was in WV2 paintcode. If not ill order an N1 front bumper. Many thanks

Now that we're finally getting somewhere with this topic, Id like to offer my advice because like you I research heavily into modifications. I built my B18 engine myself, fully self taught. The one overwhelming part that I've noticed with exhausts for 350zs is rasp, and this is where you really get what you pay for out of the box. I'll be honest ive been gobsmacked at how much a V6 can rasp. While various options like true duel, single exit and the like massively depend on the person at hand, if you want to avoid rasp you're going to have to put money into it. Before I fitted my HFCs, I had a japspeed K2 Y pipe, centre pipe and backbox. Rasp was minimal, with a deep throaty burble on idle. Continuing through the range it remained consistent and even at WOT it wasnt droney. Upon fitting of japspeed HFCs, its changed the exhaust note massively. Town driving it sounds lovely, that real V6 worrble thats borderline skyline sound (imo just with boost) and I love it. However, due to the increased flow and heat, at anything over 4K or WOT its become raspy as hell, Honda levels of rasp. An added issue ive encountered is possibly a design fault in mine, that the baffles rattle from resonance which we all know is horrible. Ive put this down to the fact that after HFCs, there are no baffles slowing it all down before it hits the backbox. From looking online and if money was on trees, Id purchase an Invidia gemini with ARK HFCs. These have a resonance chamber built on the side and although I appreciate that most recording devices aren't going to pick it up perfectly, near 0 rasp. -

Well mine turned out great, only cost me £50 to have them and I can honestly say they came out better then factory. Id say theres a small amount of paranoia there although its justified. Maybe im paranoid but I wouldnt like stickting things to my nice new headlights lol -

Can you not get a bodyshop to add another layer of clear coat to them? Thats what I did when I had mine refurbished because of yellowing -

Yeah that exhaust has been bodged in the past. I hate places who pull stunts like this. As for the fox, stick it on some toast and cure hunger for half hour
