  1. I keep missing the parts I want by mere hours Seems everything I want is in demand, lol. If the sale falls through, I'm next on the side diffuser/step/thingies!!
  2. I don't agree, I've seen a set and if done right, it looks classy. Trust me, I have a clear vision, it won't look tacky at all.
  3. It's FWD vs RWD, 4 pot vs v6. No contest, IMO. I loved my EP3 Type R, I miss it, but RWD gives you so much more.
  4. You're not going to do it let's face it, it looks gash. Start thinking what colour vinyl you want. I'm doing Arlon Mariana Blue some time in the new year with black accents (door handles, roof, etc), then I'll do the brembos yellow (will look great with blue), paint stock rays alloys black and machine a silver edge, then add silver 'RAYS' stickers to the spokes (ala te37s), black side steps (side diffusers on stock skirts), a nismo v1 front bumper with black lip, and a TS style diffuser on stock rear bumper. Done.
  5. I agree with you, stick with the way you are or do a wrap and change it up entirely. The wrap will also protect your panels and then you'll only need to re-wrap the panels that get damaged. It's win-win-win, except a little extra maintenance (basically careful washing with the right stuff, that's all).
  6. And the front again, this time with hood.
  7. Bit quick n dirty, but here ya go. I did these three as they seemed the most representative that hadn't already been done. EDIT: And I just noticed after posting them, I forgot to bring back the reflections in the front shot, hence it looks a little flat.
  8. Looks like I'm a bit late to this party, but I also photoshop (for over 10 years) and enjoy doing it (time permitting) if anyone ever needs. PS. Front is the best view IMO if you're going to do this, its the rear that looks horribly wrong.
  9. Good things never come easy, it's a good omen. Well done mate. Looking forward to seeing it!
  10. Something to think about for sure. There'd be lots of souvlaki thrown in too! lol. But if it's basically a dyno tuning service, there are good companies here that can do that, I thought it was an OTS map for stage 1 mods. Cool beans, like I say, something to think about when the time comes
  11. It's ripped off the nismo v1 sideskirts, kinda. Must be classy
  12. Damn, I definitely should have thought of that! Still, I think I'm still covered with my AMG G63! I'll just weld some spikes and stuff onto it. Seriously, though, beast. Zombie squashing in style. Even the sexy Range Rover behind, totally outclassed.
  13. ^ totally agree. It definitely IS an interesting car, I WANT to love it, I think it looks great, I don't understand why some people don't like the styling. If it came from the factory with 300hp it would probably be in my perfect 10 car garage
  14. Depends what you're used to I suppose. It's notoriously difficult to take a downgrade in power and still be satisfied, and I've been messing with high power to weight ratio cars for too long to go back to NA 4 pots. The S2000 (one of my favourite and one of the greatest cars ever) needs more power as well, in mine and many others' opinion. This thread is about the GT86, and my comment is that it isn't a very quick car, if you're used to fast cars, try it first cos you might be disappointed, I was. I wouldn't be satisfied with an MX5 either, despite being a great drivers car if you can't afford something faster. Give it 300hp and it's another matter, and the same goes for the 86.
  15. A 911 for 25k with no more than 50k miles is going to be 10 years old with higher fuel costs, higher, tax, insurance and massive maintenance bills. I can't beleive you can get them for 25k over there, you're so lucky. Not a single 911 worth touching in Greece for less than 35k and for that money it would have 200k miles. A good one will set you back 50k. Maintenance on a 911 isn't that bad I'm told, but hey, just putting the best out there. As for the gt86 not needing power, sure, if you plan on roling on those two pence pieces that the car comes with, it's a blast. lol. It was a huge missed opportunity and I'm stunned any car lover would refute that. At least they could have given that 2l lump a small turbo and proper size rims and tires, if they had it would have been so much better. As it stands, a GT86 needs at least 5 grand in the engine for a turbo or SC, at least 2 grand in wheels and tires, and another in brakes, to do what should have been done at the factory. The stock car has a terrible identity crisis.
  16. I didn't realise this uprev map was intellectual property of Abbey, I assumed it was a Nissan map, of course I will talk to Mark first. Maybe I can just send him my ECU?? Cheers.
  17. I forgot about the F40 tbh, maybe I should swap the 355. I considered the Bowler (I would have gone for an EXR), but then swapped it for the AMG G63 figuring I could do Bowler kind of stuff with that, then go to a night at the proms, then on a road trip to Moscow.
  18. This is mine...took me a little thought, looking forward to reading yours! Renaultsport Clio V6 Nissan Skyline R34 GTR Lamborghini Miura Mk1 Volkswagen Golf GTi cabriolet Ferrari F355 Honda S2000 KTM X-Bow AMG G63 (for those weekends away) Bugatti Veyron (cos you just have to) Porsche Carrera GT (the 'one' for me) Honorable mentions: Jaguar E-Type Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evo2 Lotus Exige TVR Tuscan 05 Mini Cooper S (supercharged, not turbo)
  19. The GT86 needs a 2JZ, should have come with one. That's it. /thread. If you can afford the swap, get one, if not, there are better cars. Zs are tail happy if you add grip to the front. Best car you can get that fits your description, fun but can squeeze the kids in, just get a 911 and be done with it.
  20. That's a nice sentiment. If you carry that around with you in real life, you have my respect. But... Nah, going over the top on the internet is half the fun, saying to people on a forum to play nice all the time and not get involved in a bit of (softcore) mob hate, is like giving someone a Zed and telling him to keep to the speed limits. Internets is open season and we all know it. Besides, as I said, I feel confident that the owner (who is around here I believe) can handle it. I'm sure I'd buy the bloke a pint in real life for having the balls to do exactly what he liked, zero ducks given. Fair play. I couldn't do it, I'm not strong enough to go against convention, and could definitely be criticised for being influenced by trends, I want my car to look good and also current and 'in-line with expectations', this is borne of negative psychological effects that I clearly have including insecurity, attention deficit, and even mid-life crisis of vanishing youth, which cause me, rightly or wrongly, to enjoy the peer approval (especially from younger enthusiasts such as yourself) as much as I enjoy the car. Not all people have these psychological weaknesses, but a surprising amount do. We never really leave the schoolyard, but that's all it is, schoolyard crack, with a bit of a cut thrown in, when I say that I'd point and laugh (more like smile or chuckle), I was being honest, do you really think I should have sugar coated it? I'm prepared to accept the consequences of my comment. If he tells me I'm an ass, I'll accept it gracefully, as it will be as honest a statement as my own. Or he's welcome to meet me outside the front gates after school.
  21. Like Mulder, I want to believe. 6 months ago I could be heard joking to other shocked people that Trump might be just what the world needs, here's hoping, really.
  22. Indeed, in 40 years the bombs will be falling anyway, we'll be fighting over water. There isn't enough of it (that's still clean or can economically be processed) if we keep reproducing at the current rate.
  23. I keep forgetting to post this for you guys but I was just reminded by a post from another member about the fact that our clutch pedals sit high and are generally a little bit of a weakness. There are only a couple of November places left, but I'm on his mailing list and will update again when he next mails me (probably next run in new year). Great piece of kit, I don't have one yet, other priorities, but I plan to get one, one day. http://rjmperformance.com/350z--g35-afp-clutch-pedal-kits.html Enjoy.
  24. There is a group buy going on right now at RJM performance in the US for their AMAZING adjustable clutch pedal, there are a couple of places left on this GB, and he seems to run them about every three months, I'm on his mailing list, but I just have other priorities right now. It ain't cheap, but by all accounts it transforms the clutch on our cars. Of course I have no idea if it fits the 370...might be worth an ask... Proper nice piece of kit... http://rjmperformance.com/350z--g35-afp-clutch-pedal-kits.html
