  1. So many kits! So when looking at things like the tein street basis vs twin flex z, is the twin flex actually worth twice the dosh? Or, with the ark performance, are you paying for the name or is it actually worth three times the price of the street basis (I've got the ark grip exhaust and it is amazing so I'm guessing it is worth it but not sure how hight their suspension is rated). Sorry for questions but I want to get it right first time and as mentioned before I do t really want to spend £800 on an "ok" system when I could spend £1000 on a really great system!
  2. Following, I'm looking at upgrading mine so want to know what others recommend, i don't wanna spend 800 on an "ok" setup if I can get a "great" setup for 1000.
  3. Congrats! Random question, the 90 underneath, how do you reset it to zero?! Was having a fiddle last night in traffic and couldnt get it to reset!
  4. Ha! Yea If I had the dosh id love air but defo no air for me yet! Budget i'd say £500 - £800, but could push £1000 if it would make a huge difference in end results.
  5. Looks like a normal Friday/Saturday night in Wrexham to me Whatcha think @Ollydykins @Jay.1r
  6. Ok so this is also on my build thread, but basically I'm planning on going from this: To this: Anyone got any recommendations on which kit / springs to go for (all other info is on opening post)?
  7. Defo give rogue a go mate it's a real eye opener to the templar side of the story! It's the same playstyle as blackflag so you will have the ships etc to bear with but it is really good and sets up unity amazingly well at the very end!
  8. Absolutely! I've played right through at least half a dozen times and will do it again I'm sure!
  9. Ah yeah switch sorry that's what I meant! Yea im really hoping AC sorts itself out, I have my favourites across the series but found after finishing unity and syndicate I had no drive to play them again, black flag and rogue for example I was straight back into again!
  10. Just bought an N64 to AV cable and fired up the old Zelda Ocarina Of Time, what a game - although it looks horrendous on a new HDTV This then lead me to watch the new Zelda "Breath Of The Wild" which looks awesome and I may now have to purchase a WII-U (or be good for Santa) to have a blast at that. But next week, I have the new Assassins Creed arriving (MASSIVE fan of the AC Series) and will likely have to give COD WW2 a go in November as I love WW2 shooters (although I feel while the Campaign / Co-op will be epic the multiplayer will be awful and I'll revert back to BF1 for that). After that, Sea Of Thieves which i've been waiting for FOREVER to come out will finally be here and I can at last set sail aboard the "Sticky Clam" (my ship name) and plunder the world for riches & fame, AAAAARRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!
  11. This is a great video, many people I know who should consider this before they fire off their opinions, and not just when it comes to cars either!
  12. Ok so after chatting with a nice chap on facebook he "quickly knocked together" this for me so I can visualise my next couple of changes, for a quick job I think it looks epic! Current Rear: New Rear: This includes a rear wiper delete, a bumper tuck and lowering. A couple of things I need to check: * Will the rear wiper delete result in MOT failures? * Will the bumper tuck be safe with some zip ties? * What suspension to go with, should I go to coilovers or stick with lowering springs? The car won't be tracked but will be driven on UK roads so need to survive the endless potholes etc and have the odd spirited drive over the weekend! I also don't want to spend a few hundred quid on springs to only then spend a few more hundred quid in a year or so on coilovers. Also have my first child on the way in March so plan to get as much done to the car and garage as possible before then so the Wife can't nag at me once the little one is here .
  13. Thanks mate, its a little daunting as all the parts are considerably more expensive than my last car but enjoying it all the same!

    Next Mod!

Oops just realised this is a double post, Mods please delete
  15. Torqen all the way If you can push to 25mm / 30mm it will look even better, but you may be looking at a little arch work depending on how low the springs drop you. I've just took my rays and spacers off (for new wheels) but it's my next adventure on how low I can go when they are back on!
  16. Wow! That's not good hope he was ok! Yea the car won't be tracked but still don't want something that's gonna potentially fall apart! Cheers for the heads up
  17. Just planning my next mod and has to be suspension as ive always thought the zed needs to be a little lower (my OH thinks I'm insane as "it's low enough" but is there ever REALLY a "low enough " look ). Anyway, has anyone used this Driftworks package that I just came across: https://www.driftworks.com/nissan-350z-handling-pack.html I've got 2 wheel sets at the moment so hoping I can get both to work with one suspension setup: Standard 18" rays and Bridgestone potenzas with the option of adding 25mm front and 30mm rear spacers. JR6 Fronts 18x9.5 et22 Tyre 225/45 Rears 18x10.5 et25 Tyre 285/35 Car will not be tracked but I get the vibe coilovers are better than just springs and are obviously adjustable so I can change height if and when needed. Hopefully someone can advise something that may be suitable!

  19. Is this a HR / Facelift? I'm looking for front lips but most seem to be for the DE/ pre facelift
  20. You literally are a purple wizard
  21. I couldn't believe the amount that was in there the first time I cleaned them, half a playing field came out!
  22. Ok, so arrived at Tweeks this morning, unloaded the 4 new Jr's and handed over the keys. Up she goes...... And a little later on..... And back on her bed..... Very happy with them, there isn't a massive difference in how the car feels weight wise and the new Falken FK510 seem to be doing their thing, so all in all a very good day! Just need to look at dropping her height a little and that'll be the next stage complete!
