Maybe its the time of year but this is GORGEOUS!

Might just call them "Golden Hoops" its easier to remember!

Me neither mate! My gut feeling is once they are on I'll need to lower the car to get the most out of them. Not extreme, maybe just a few mm, but i've never seen these in the flesh on a car or fitted anything like this style in the past so I'm taking a gamble on it. Either way, they will be on for testing soon and then off again for the winter. Come next summer hopefully the fitment etc will all be sorted!

Yea ordered them this week bud. The MPSS are clearly a better tyre but I thought I'd try these out and see what they are like, If they are really bad then lesson learnt and I'll switch to MPSS next time, but no harm in trying something different

Tyres on their way in the form of some Falken FK510's, so in the meantime better get these baby's prepped!

Well that's good news with finding out the Falkens are doing well in the rankings having just ordered a set!

I've just been speaking to a chap at Demon Tweeks as I need new tyres for the new JR6 wheels i've just bought from @Tarmac@TarmacSportz. I said everyone raves about the MPSS and he agreed they were fantastic tyres but said if I wasn't going to be tracking the car it might be worth using these instead as they are still a really good tyre and about half the price of MPSS. I've got to get the new wheels test fitted by them first but think i'll be going with these instead as I won't be seeing a track in this car..............Not this year anyway Price wise - the FK510'S were £520 & the MPSS £900 (Fitted).

So after less than a week, a small pallet turned up at my work..... Amazing service from @Tarmac@TarmacSportz and I've also picked up some poorboys sealent and the Muteki bolts to fit. Just need the tyres and can then try them out for a few days to make sure they are all ok, then put them back into storage for winter

I've just bought some new wheels for the summer but keeping my rays I think they are ace looking! And yes I agree with exactly what @coldel says above

Ok so brief update, been looking at new wheels for what feels like a lifetime but finally settled on a set of these: Big thanks to Chris @Tarmac@TarmacSportz for helping me out, I've never bought aftermarket wheels so was really venturing into the unknown! Very happy that I had someone like him to advise on what fitment and extra bits I need! They should be here next week and i hope to get them on before the end of the year (need to get some tyres first) so will take a pic once they are on and give them a quick test run before popping them off and into hibernation for the winter!

Right, had it up the garage and had the wheel off. Have wobbled, nudge, prodded, spun and wiggled everything to see what the noise it, nothing. Everything is working exactly as it should be! Retorqued spacers and put the wheel back on, and the clicking has gone! Might be one of the wheel bolts was slightly loose or something but seems to have done the trick for now!

No worries mate, be nice to see someone else with a HR starting from scratch like me, we can see what does/doesn't work!

I just ordered some jr6 with Chris @Tarmac@TarmacSportz over the phone and he was a real Gent to deal with, plus gave plenty of advise on other bits too, highly recommend.

Right, I've managed to get a video of the bugger! (See original post) Typically as soon as i started filming in a nice empty factory carpark it stops then starts again as I got home im sure the neighbours loved me growling up and down the drive 3 or 4 times so yea, any more thoughts on what it is? Might well be a bearing as advised above.

Had it up to a garage to have a look at lunch today and they can't work out what it is either! They jacked it up and wobbled the wheel incase it was loose but its nice and tight, span it slowly by hand while i turned the steering wheel, nothing, as soon as it was on the floor and rolling slowly again there it was, tick tick tick! It does get quicker as the wheel spins but you only really notice it at lower speeds so going round a large roundabout at 25mph you won't hear anything but a small white blob roundabout at 5mph you will. It sounds like when you used to put playing cards in your spokes on a bike as a kid! Had a look.all.over the wheels and nothing in there like a nail or anything, the garage said there was plenty of Clearence between the wheel and the arches at. Really weird! I'll try and get a video tomorrow if I can and post it up.

Could this "knocking" also be described as a "ticking" sound? I have it on mine when at full lock or on a sharp corner from the drivers side and its doing my head in!
