Went to have a look at 2 today: LINK - FIRST ONE And underneath: LINK - Second One And again, underneath: Now i'm no expert in the underside of cars, but what would you pro's say to the condition of both of these? Is this as good as your going to get with cars of this age or are they both battered underneath? It's just so I have something to compare against on future visits. In my eyes, the second one is better underneath, but any advice would be appreciated! Also, nether are "the one" so the hunt will continue!

Ok so just got back from seeing/test driving the car. It looks great the colour is insanely nice! There are a couple of small stone dinks and hairline scratches on the skin but nothing too bad. The bubbling issue is much smaller and less noticeable in person but still something I need to bear in mind. The brakes aren't brembo they're standard stock but do the job. Engine is immaculate and purrs beautifully. Did a cold start and work straight away. Exhaust looks clean and rust free and from what I can see around the rest of the car there doesn't appear to be any rust issues. Interior is ok a couple of worn areas but nothing too bad. It is defo an import as the indicators on the right stick and the fuEl "reminder" is in kmh but everything else is mph. Needs possibly 1 new disk, advisorys on bushes and It doesn't look like it's had "the major service" but had plenty of paperwork to back up all services and repairs that have been done. Car itself is really quick. He said that the jap versions have no limiters so it just keeps going and it sure felt like it! All in all I am impressed. I see that it will need some care in parts but for a 13 year old import with less than 40k on the clock I think it's a good car! Oh and the reason so.many owners in Japan was because it was sold from father to son to brother in quick succession in the family. Gonna have a look at one or two kore round here and maybe one other discussed previously if I can get down before xmas so will see what happens! ðŸ˜

It's a wrap - the base/stock colour is silver. Thanks for the advice - from the rest of the pics (body/interior/enginebay) it loks very clean, will see it in person to make a final decision on that however. This is only the 2nd one i've been to look at so there will probably be more before I decide, seems a lot of the ones for sale however talk about rusty arches though so as it's only on one arch I could possibly get that sorted for not much dosh. But your right will definitely use my head, see if there's any more rusty problems lurking anywhere!

Hi docwra, I've emailed to ask about the brakes, from what I can see on the image the callipers are red but they could just be painted I guess. I was looking for low mileage as I plan to keep this for a VERY long time but I would be happy to go up to 50k max. With regards to the low mileage he hasn't said why its so low, I would assume that it's just been well looked after rather than driven as a daily. He has said he's not in a rush to sell, he just doesn't have time to drive it so wants it to go to a good home where it will be used.
