Problem is Jowan if you budget say £2k for new wheels, tyres and exhaust. You might as well just spend the extra on a car with rays and other exhaust already on and the extra money will get you a lower milage example to boot that hasnt previously been owed by someon with 0/0 vision

I am certainly no expert but its all down to the shape weather it creates lift/downforce/neutral and how the air flows over/under it. The shape of a car naturally creates downforce because the air traveling over it has to travel faster and further than the air going underneath which pushes it into the road. A spoiler or wing can have a similar effect if shaped accordingly although i think most car spoilers are designed with looks (aesthetics) in mind and nothing to do with aero On the opposite end. If the spoiler is shaped where the air has to travel further underneath then it will actually create lift just like an aeroplane wing is engineered Back to OP. I think your boot was closing at speed due to the air travelling over the roof and nothing to do with spoiler

Its like anything in life. Something is worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. The more exotic, rare, pristine the item the more it will bring. Cars are no different. What i dont get is salesmen being arrogant. The best deals are surely ones where both parties walk away very happy. The garage i got mine from noticed when my dad dropped me off to collect rhe car he was looking around. The salesman gave me some £100 vouchers and said if he is considering buying something come back and see him and i will get £100 Ps i have just bought HR 2008 63k miles for £10200. Didnt get a penny off but did get the bonnet and bumper respray throw in due to usual stone chips so worth a few hundred

If your electric car does run out of battery and you are stranded on the side of a B road what are the options? Can you recharge it roadside from some sort of large battery box/ starter or is the only option to tow it to a charge point or back home? Also i am always weary of the kids of today being one for pranks when i was younger. I am fairly certain youths will find it highly amusing to unplug an electric car on charge at a charge station ot outside a house for those without a garage and then you are faced with a long wait before you can get to or from work? Now when wireless charging comes in. That could be the future

When you change the wheels on the Zed or any car for that matter and the new wheels have a larger centre bore do you need to fit a platic/metal hub adaptor or whatever the technical term is? Or are they fine without? If it is recommended where is the best place to purchase and best quality? Apologies if this has been covered before

This was my zed when i first went to garage to look. It was a common rainy day and they had only got it in day before so not had a chance to clean it but i was still sold. The wheels will be up for sale soon if anyone is looking for a set of GT4 wheels

Anyone running these and general comments welcome. Just going through how to update my new zed now the zeditis has crept in. These seem on paper as a good middle of the road option at £1000. They offer the adj lowering which is good without the damper adj which for someone with little mechanical/suspension knowledge is great so long as they are correct for fast road use which it says. So does anyone currently have?

Picked this up today. Real excitement. Noticed on drive home steering is pulling slightly to left but will get this sorted with full alignment when i get new wheels

Think i am gonna go for the enkei PF01. Lightweight and I like style. Just cant decide if the silver or black will look best on black zed. Not too fussed about stealth look so may choose silver

There are different pdc available They do the 114.3 required for zed

Just found centre bore is 66.1 on these wheels according to one website so could be ok. Gonna give demon tweeks a ring i think to ask them
