When you change the wheels on the Zed or any car for that matter and the new wheels have a larger centre bore do you need to fit a platic/metal hub adaptor or whatever the technical term is? Or are they fine without? If it is recommended where is the best place to purchase and best quality? Apologies if this has been covered before

Welcome mate. Just bought one myself and i am from west yorkshire

Thats kind of what i am thinking. Its average money for a premium product but without all the extras which i wouldnt know how to get best of anyway and am not planning on tracking it in near future either. Just wanted any thoughts of anyway thats had them as can't find any threads

This was my zed when i first went to garage to look. It was a common rainy day and they had only got it in day before so not had a chance to clean it but i was still sold. The wheels will be up for sale soon if anyone is looking for a set of GT4 wheels -
Anyone running these and general comments welcome. Just going through how to update my new zed now the zeditis has crept in. These seem on paper as a good middle of the road option at £1000. They offer the adj lowering which is good without the damper adj which for someone with little mechanical/suspension knowledge is great so long as they are correct for fast road use which it says. So does anyone currently have?

Picked this up today. Real excitement. Noticed on drive home steering is pulling slightly to left but will get this sorted with full alignment when i get new wheels -
Think i am gonna go for the enkei PF01. Lightweight and I like style. Just cant decide if the silver or black will look best on black zed. Not too fussed about stealth look so may choose silver

There are different pdc available They do the 114.3 required for zed
-
Just found centre bore is 66.1 on these wheels according to one website so could be ok. Gonna give demon tweeks a ring i think to ask them
-
The wheels on the car are the special edition 5 spoke that were on the GT4 edition Do you know how these compare weight wise? If lighter may look to get these refurbed in different colour
-
Simple question. Would these wheels fit the zed I am hopefully picking up my zed next week and looking at new wheels. These are expensive but lightweight and i think would look great on the black zed They are 18" only available 8.5 wide for front 10" for rear Offset 20 front and 25 rear Thos seems spot on but centre bore is something like 63mm dont know if this is correct? It says they are made for BMW M3 and 6 nut version for Dodge Viper. Would they work?

Well it looks like i will be owning one very shortly. Put a deposit down today with a view to going back next week and buying. Just come on autotrader. Dont know if this link will work? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201601290516995/sort/atcustom/postcode/wf82ga/radius/1501/make/nissan/model/350_z/price-to/11000/page/1/usedcars Realy wanted a HR model. Black or midnight blue were preferred colours and to say its at a dealership price is right. Its not perfect. Alloys could idealy do with refurb but by no means look bad. Tyres are budget and interior leather needs touching up but good points are full dealer service history every year including P3. Mot history shows no advisories or cause for concern at all and the garage is respraying the front bumper and bonnet to get rid of the usual stone chips. Brakes, exhaust etc are in usual used condition but fine but as i mentioned previously i will be looking to upgrade in the coming months before summer so all in all very excited and to celebrake i have just bought £140 of cleaning/wax goodies to waste several hours of a weekend when weather picks up -
This car is back up for sale on ebay again by user with no feedback for the exact same £3800 Lady owner again.... Hope no-one falls for it again.

I should add i haggle with customers every day as part of my job. Its the old saying i start high. They start low and we meet in the middle where we both are happy with the deal. With car dealers / garages a lot of whether you get a discount and how much depends on if they are having a good month sales wise. If they are behind budget you are much more inclined to get a good deal. The problem os you wont know. You could always ask no harm in sticking it in general chit chat. Private sales much depend on how long the car has been up for sale for and how the person values their car. Someone isnt likely to accept an offer 10-20% below asking price if they only put it up for sale day before but if it has been up for several months with little/no interest the ball is firmly in the buyers court. Always point out work that needs doing to try and get price down regardless wether this has been factored into price or not and have cash ready to hand over. Its a lot harder fot someone to turn down the readies in person than it is to reject an e-mail offer These are just my thoughts and experiences some may agree. Some may be obvious. Some may say its drivvel just putting my two pence in. Hope it helps

Just tell them what you are willing to spend minus around £500-£1000 that way you are in right ball park but gives you a valid reason to try and get a discount. Dealers will always try and get the most they can off you but if you decide on a car and explain that you just cant afford it but if they knock a bit off they will have a deal you will usually end up meeting somewhere in the middle. Same with part ex. Never accept their first offer. If you barter a little you can usually get a fee hundred quid more off them. Always see what the trade in value is on parkers whatcar or other and use this to negotiate Of course it all depends on what car you are buying. How desirable it is and how rare it is

Mustard doesnt sound anything like proper nice. Shouldn't it be something like fluffy dice = proper nice

Check the one for sale in zeds for sale. Very nice motor 06 plate but i am 99% sure it is pre tax hike model. 8.5k but he says it can go cheaper with original alloys
-
Like someone said earlier. He would be better off building a garage if room. Thankfully my garage is sat empty awaiting my first zed when the right one comes along

Ricey. You obviously are an honerable gent or you would be championing the cover in your local area and cashing in on the work later. Thats put me off a cover. I had a very similar problem with bird poo on my previous black car. I thought a damp sponge would remove it so a few swirls later i had scratches everywhere due to the grit in it. That was a harsh lesson learned in my younger days. Black cars seem to show it up twice as bad

This car is now back up for sales on motors.co.uk. £11995 private seller. Its shifted around a bit recently

Yeah Mike. Its a lot of dosh so dont want to buy a money pit. The midnight blue pic i posted is my favourite currently on sale but just too much money as it stands. I asked if they would do a quick cash sale but because its only been on for a week they want the full asking price. I have to wait and keep searching. I offered £9.7k which was flatly refused. Its not like i would use it anyway till spring. Would just be sat in garage. Regardless of that it wont stop me buying a "gem" if one pops up -
Sorry jetpilot. Didnt mean to come accross rude. Its just people said wont get the look i am after but i never gave a look. Your forsale wheels look good. I think i have made my mind up if i stick to 8.5 front 9.5 rear but go with a lesser offset say 15/20 that will push the wheels out quite nice whist still allowing me to lower 25/30mm to gain a quality overall look and performance Need to work out tyre profiles now though as might not get away with a 40 height Just checked my BMW that runs on 225/40/R18 front and 255/35/R18 rears it also has the m-sport lowered suspension and that works fine as well as offering great grip. Not dure what width the wheels are

Have already been in touch. If it was any other colour i would have seriously considered as the overall car is well worth the money but silver ones do nothing for me. I know that they are the most abundant option but i just prefer every other colour even the gunmetal. Sorry jim

I dont want the stance look full stop. Just best handing/look combo without have to come to a standstill over speedhumps and kerbs etc...
