    Aftermarket Seats

I have just recently bought some bucket seats. You definately need to sit in them first, do not buy without trying somewhere. I went to GSM for the sparco rev but i did not realise they were so small i had to clench my cheeks to get in (both sets) and i am 5,9 11stone. Ended up opting for buddy club which are only 5kg each and the large option which i think is the only size available in uk fits perfect. I was gonna purchase from GSM but i rung them 3 seperate days to order along with buddyclub rails and each time the guy said he would ring back but never did. So i lost patience and ordered direct from buddyclub uk website. Also as the guy at GSM pointed out and i realise from fitting, there arent that many bucket seats that will fit in a 350 due to interior dimensions. The ones i have which you can sort of make out from pic below have just millimetres clearence on bolsters to door handles and about 10mm clearence at shoulders to door cards. They are 585mm at shoulders. The sparco evo you are interested in if its the evo 1 are 600mm at shoulders so that would be sbout maximum to fit in a 350. Any wider and you will have issues. Hope this helps
  6. Bought these through the forum on a group buy. I think they were £48. Someone please correct me if i'm wrong Anyway, never used them so may as well go to someone who will 4 tyres worth of letters (unopened) to spell MICHELIN with applicator glue. White 1" letters £30 posted
  7. Pair of OEM cats for sale which came off my 08 HR at 65k miles when i upgraded to cobra system. I would guess average condition for age, there are a couple of bolts sheared in the flanges from when they were removed. Collection only from Pontefract, West Yorkshire due to size and weight. £80
  8. Love the colour of the skyline. If thats your summer car are you telling is the 350z your winter run around? Damn, no wonder finish people are so good at driving
  9. Just spent 5 hours fitting these lightweight seats just 5kg each, prob 10kg with buddyclub rails. Massive weight saving over stock
  10. Collection from Pontefract, West Yorkshire. £200 For Sale pair of heated electric alezan leather seats from 2008 GT model. I have given them a quick clean with the mequires product and sealed with nano drops coating (in pics) both seats fully working and in good condition. I would say 7/10 overall. The bolsters although not perfect by any means are better than most sets that come up and there is a small mark on drivers leg bolster. Close up pics below. Driver seat Drivers bolster Passenger seat Passenger bolster
  11. There are lots on ebay for a fraction of the cost. I have one. Works perfectly ok although it arrived in a dubious case cough cough

  13. Given that democracy causes so many arguments and anger Whos up for a dictatorship? On a serious note, i have seen programs on Iraq where a lot of people wished Sadaam was still there. Theres a saying, you cant please everyone all of the time. You have to settle for pleasing some people some of the time. Anyone who is a manager will vouch for that. Politics is very similar except that in the run up they try to please everyone for votes then in reality end up pleasing no-one. And people love moaning...
  14. Could start doing £14.99 flights to alicante with that wing
  15. I have just replaced my old battery with a bosch S4 60ah battery. Euro car parts had that or a heavier duty 75ah that was a little bigger but i have never had an issue with bosch S4 in 2 other cars so stuck with what i know. Going by the ah you should be ok with your battery as long as its not coming to the end of its life. Just try it and see
  16. Anyone looking for an auto 350z? Ebay number 201706948160 Looks a great example
  17. Just to finish this thread. Just got round to fitting the blueprint replacement pumps today. Went to pull car out of garage, hardly anything, the battery was showing 9v. Great Took it out of car, looks like the original, all in japanese writing so i suppose 8 years aint bad. Shot down to euro car parts for a new bosch S4 and fitted. Started straight away, so got to fitting the pumps and coupling everything back up. All screenwash working again fine Thanks GM for the advice above and hopefully this thread can help someone else. Still cant believe both pumps went at same time but i suppose for what they cost if you ever need to change one you may as well do both whilst the bumper is off for peace of mind
  18. Are people suggesting these are a bit tyred ? Heads for the door 🚪
  19. http://www.motuk.co.uk/manual_410.htm Cant see anything in there. First thing that came up on google. Only states you cant have 2 different tyre sizes on same axle so unless your driving a nascar i think your fine
  20. Is it the car thats insured or the person? Because most of us with a fully comp policy can drive someone elses car third party so if you had an accident im assuming the drivers insurance pays not the owners insurance. Therefore you can have 2 policies against a car. Think i have confused myself. Insurance in general is just one big grey cloud

    Oil Cooler Q

I have a thermostatic mishimoto oil cooler. It kicks in very early (after a couple mins from cold start). I took it for a spirited drive 2 weeks back. About 10-15 mins flat out to 7k rpm in 1/2/3rd and temp needle never went above half way which i was very happy with. If you touch the pipes or oil cooler radiator you can feel the heat. Its similar temp to you household radiators and pipes so is dispersing a fair amount of heat which would be crucial on track
  23. Yes. Thanks GM for all the help. Ordered from Amazon as i put above £45 all in so will see what happens when i put those in. I am praying the headlight pump is still ok as i cant seem to find one anywhere and as i said prev it is wired directly into pump which would make it ackward to change.
  24. Realy want one of these for end of year to go with buckets seats. Are there any traders on here that sell them or can get hold of them? Plus after searching there only seems the GC fabrications one off the shelf so to speak in this country so the graffiti one could be a good option for a group buy if others are interested? Look great as well, think StevoD has one
