I remember this car being for sale when i bought mine a year ago. Sure it was up for around 2k more than this and the ex owner had listed loads he had done and money spent, no expense for servicing etc...
IIRC also it was a rev up but with lower tax band (one of the few sold in the 2 weeks before tax changed)
So i would guess the mot failure was the W brace like has been said which is no issue. Certainly worth a look imo if your interested.
I am planning on Uprev in a few months. Quick question, if i get 4 different maps (limp, 95ron, std, track.) or something like that, how do you switch between them and how do you know which map you are in?
Mine is a HR model
Mine took around 7ltrs when i took bumper off and drained. Is it possible you could have trapped or kinked a pipe when reconnecting bumber? There is a hose that connects the 2 reservoirs so poss that is trapped?
I have just recently bought some bucket seats. You definately need to sit in them first, do not buy without trying somewhere. I went to GSM for the sparco rev but i did not realise they were so small i had to clench my cheeks to get in (both sets) and i am 5,9 11stone.
Ended up opting for buddy club which are only 5kg each and the large option which i think is the only size available in uk fits perfect.
I was gonna purchase from GSM but i rung them 3 seperate days to order along with buddyclub rails and each time the guy said he would ring back but never did. So i lost patience and ordered direct from buddyclub uk website.
Also as the guy at GSM pointed out and i realise from fitting, there arent that many bucket seats that will fit in a 350 due to interior dimensions. The ones i have which you can sort of make out from pic below have just millimetres clearence on bolsters to door handles and about 10mm clearence at shoulders to door cards. They are 585mm at shoulders. The sparco evo you are interested in if its the evo 1 are 600mm at shoulders so that would be sbout maximum to fit in a 350. Any wider and you will have issues. Hope this helps
Bought these through the forum on a group buy. I think they were £48. Someone please correct me if i'm wrong
Anyway, never used them so may as well go to someone who will

Pair of OEM cats for sale which came off my 08 HR at 65k miles when i upgraded to cobra system.
I would guess average condition for age, there are a couple of bolts sheared in the flanges from when they were removed.
Collection only from Pontefract, West Yorkshire due to size and weight.
£80

Collection from Pontefract, West Yorkshire. £200
For Sale pair of heated electric alezan leather seats from 2008 GT model. I have given them a quick clean with the mequires product and sealed with nano drops coating (in pics) both seats fully working and in good condition. I would say 7/10 overall. The bolsters although not perfect by any means are better than most sets that come up and there is a small mark on drivers leg bolster. Close up pics below.

Given that democracy causes so many arguments and anger
Whos up for a dictatorship?
On a serious note, i have seen programs on Iraq where a lot of people wished Sadaam was still there.
Theres a saying, you cant please everyone all of the time. You have to settle for pleasing some people some of the time. Anyone who is a manager will vouch for that. Politics is very similar except that in the run up they try to please everyone for votes then in reality end up pleasing no-one.
And people love moaning...
I have just replaced my old battery with a bosch S4 60ah battery. Euro car parts had that or a heavier duty 75ah that was a little bigger but i have never had an issue with bosch S4 in 2 other cars so stuck with what i know.
Going by the ah you should be ok with your battery as long as its not coming to the end of its life. Just try it and see
